Halloween Party!

I had finished putting my costume on, as the Halloween party would start in an hour and a half. Pen called me from down the stairs and asked if I was ready.

"Yep! Coming! Just gotta finish attaching this velcro." I responded.

I attached my fangs to my teeth and finished putting my cloak on.

I went down the stairs and saw Pen in his costume. Pen was a grim reaper for Halloween. His dark cloak masked his entire body and he wore a dark, shadowy mask that made it impossible for you to see his face from the outside. He held a scythe and spun it on his finger.

"Are you sure you can see out of that thing?" I asked.

"If I couldn't see, how would I have walked from my room downstairs?" Pen replied.

"Surprisingly, you have a point," I bluntly remarked.

"What's that supposed to mean!"

I chuckled, knowing Pen hated it when people babied him and didn't take him seriously.

We walked out the door and Pen decided we should bring our props. I instantly agreed as I didn't want my fake blood and fangs to go to waste. I smeared fake blood on my fangs and some on my costume and hands before leaving the house.

Pen told me to drive since his costume slightly obstructed his vision. I told him to take it off, but he refused. He wanted to look "stylish" for the party and he didn't want to take any chances.

"Look, I know you're hideous, but you have a mask on so no worries!" I cackled.

"Bro! That was cold man," Pen angrily frowned, punching my shoulder in rage.

The drive was normal and we saw some friends going there too. Lightning was driving Stapy, Marker, and Foldy to the party. He waved at us while wearing some shades. Pen and I couldn't see any of their costumes except Lightning since the back windows were tinted. Lightning seemed to be a video game character, but neither Pen nor I could make out who it was, as many characters wore shades. We also saw Teardrop on her bike. We waved to her and she waved back. We asked what she was for Halloween. She made a motion saying we would find out, as she would change when she got there.

We arrived at the party and walked into the building. The main area was huge. There was a TV with eight controllers, gambling tables, lots of alcohol, more snacks than you could imagine, and so much more. It looked like the building was decorated very nicely for Halloween.

"Yo wassup Pen!" I heard from not too far away. Blocky and Eraser were waving at him on a couch. Pen dragged me over and sat down with his bros.

"Nice costume Tree," Eraser commented, looking at my Vampire costume.

"Thanks, dude. Your costume looks fresh too." I saw his costume, which was also a video game character.

Blocky sat down and got us some drinks.

"Dude look at all these drinks I stole from the vending machine!"

Using a quarter attached to a string, Blocky was able to get four free drinks for all of us. We sat down and chatted for about ten minutes before we heard another voice. I heard my name in the distance. I glanced over and saw Remote and her friends. I waved back and saw them gather around the Poker table.

"Ooh, someone's got some female game," Blocky teased.

"Shut up, they're just friends," I replied with a chuckle.
