Fighting to Love (Power Rangers Samurai)

Kidnapping and Panicking.

Before I start please please PLEASE know I don't own the X-Men and Power Rangers Samurai because those are owned by Saban, Marvel, and Samsung. ENJOY (you guys are going to HATE this chapter, but whatever).

Panicking is not fun.

Especially when your boyfriend -ahem, person you trust a lot (not boyfriend because he is NOT my boyfriend in any way)- happens to be the leader of a crime fighting team.

They were gone again.

Panic. Panic. Panic.

Ba-bum. Ba-bum. Ba-bum.

My heart was beating so fast and loudly I could hear it echoing in my mind.

They're okay.

As soon as the doors opened, I sighed in relief. No one was hurt. No one was kidnapped. Nothing.

They all seemed pretty stressed. I eavesdropped a little during the meeting.

"We need to use the black box." Ji suggested.

"Ji-"

"Its worth the risks, Jayden. This is the black box." Ji opened an archive to a page where the picture was shown. "It was created by the first red ranger."

"Simple, right? We just activate it and-" Mike was cut off by Jayden.

"The red ranger never finished it."

"So we get Antonio to do it. He's a tech whiz." Mike continued.

"It takes an immense amount of symbol power." Kevin shook his head.

"But if anyone can do it, Antonio's the right person." Emily grinned.

"The black box is at the tengen gate. Go there, and retrieve it." Ji ordered.

The meeting adjourned shortly after.

"You okay?" Jayden asked as I walked around the courtyard with him.

"Yeah." I breathed. "I'm okay."

"Jayden, we're going!" Mike called.

"I'm sorry I have to-"

"Go."

He turned to leave. "And Jayden?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"Promise you'll come home safe and sound."

"Who knows?" He asked, then left.

A few hours later, Antonio walked in with Ji. They had two people leaning on them each. The people were the rangers.

"How did it go?" I asked, hopeful that Jayden was safe. 

Alas, the truth is always near and dear to reality. 

"Bad." Antonio frowned. 

"Bad? Where's Jayden?" I asked nervously. 

"The nighlock... they took him..." Antonio looked like he was about to burst into tears. 

"Right now, we must focus on the Black Box." Ji ordered. 

"TO HELL WITH THE BLACK BOX!" I shouted, and Ji's face didn't remain calm anymore. "JAYDEN'S KIDNAPPED AND ALL YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT IS A NEW BATTLE WEAPON. HE'S GONE AND... and I can't help him." 

"Ashlynn, we must focus on the task at hand." 

"Well, clearly, I don't agree with how your priorities are organized." I shot back. 

"We need to get them in bed, we will resume this conversation after." Ji ordered with an angry face, then walked off to the infirmary with Antonio following. 

Jayden was out there, somewhere, hurt, probably, and being tortured by the nighlock. I had to save him. But HOW?!
