Fighting to Love (Power Rangers Samurai)

The Final Battle

The Black Bird hovered above the battle and Xandred. He was as scary looking as I had thought. 

The sky turned dark, and Storm flew down slowly, lightning sparks flying out of her hands. Mutants who had been fearlessly running, stopped. She aimed the lightning for them, and landed. Beast jumped down beside her. 

Kitty and Bobby jumped down, disappearing under the ground until after Colossus made his way down. They reappeared after Colossus moved. 

"Never do that to me again." Bobby breathed out, and they fell into line with the others. 

I flew down with my wings, aiming fireballs at some people. Evelyn followed, and we took our places next to Bobby and Kitty. Angel flew down with Banshee. Now we had formed a circle around the rangers, moogers, and Master Xandred. Scott and the Prof rushed to safety in Manhattan. 

"RANGERS, FIGHT. EVERYBODY GET TOGETHER, AND HOLD THIS LINE." Logan growled loudly. 

"Finish them!" Magneto ordered, and it was now clear that we were very outnumbered. Lines of men rushed towards us.

The battle had begun.

Juggernaut rushed forward. Kitty followed, with Evelyn on her heels. 

Bobby built a thick ice wall covering a long space, and I flew up to start shooting fireballs at the oncoming. I dive-bombed and turned into a tiger midway, tackling as many people as I could. 

The rangers were fighting hard against the moogers, but were heavily outnumbered. 

Jubilee was right behind me, shooting electric blasts at any enemy she could. The rangers moved to somewhere else, and so did we. 

It was the remains of a stone parking structure. Perfect. 

Logan sliced a few stones, throwing them at Juggernaut and anyone else. Evelyn and Bobby formed a thick, ice-vine wall around the rangers, and we were based outside. 

Juggernaut couldn't crash through the wall, but he could weaken it. Kitty, Bobby and Evelyn were inside of the wall, thickening it. 

Bobby and Kitty ran out of the wall, and I started fighting with Pyro. 

"You are powerless without fire." I exclaimed, then turned into a tiger again, pouncing on him. Bobby came over and started aiming some ice balls at him. 

Bobby froze Pyro into a huge ice wall, and I aimed a fire ball at his heart. "Goodbye." I said, blasting it through, killing him mercilessly. 

"Go help the rangers, it's the right thing to do!" Bobby yelled. Beast, for whatever reason, injected something into Magneto. We were winning. 

Evelyn and I flew over to where the rangers were. Xandred was binded by a capture symbol power, Jayden hitting him with dual fire smashers. 

Evelyn kept Xandred binded with vines and I threw some fire balls at the weakened area after Jayden hit them. Xandred finally dropped and exploded. 

Now for the mega size. 

Jubilee and I blew apart the ice vine wall. The rangers needed their space, and besides, we needed it too. 

All there was left was... Jean. Juggernaut had disappeared in the fires, and Magneto, weakened by the injection, was lying on the ground. 

Logan held her close, kissing her before stabbing her body. I couldn't watch anymore. 

My attention turned to the rangers. Evelyn had flown up and now had vines binding the nighlock. The gigazord rose high in the sky. The other X-Men stared in amusement. 

The binds broke, and Xandred sent the zords and the rangers flying back. 

3 zords lost. 

I aimed some fire balls at Xandred, and Evelyn rose Jubilee high so that she could fire her electric blasts too. 

Evelyn screamed loudly, Banshee at her side. Xandred got a little weaker. 

4 zords gone. 

No more shield. 

Gone were the nighlock. 

"Hey wait, say it one last time!" Antonio said. 

"Samurai rangers, victory is ours!"

I didn't see them after the battle. The black bird rushed us home to Manhattan, where I needed to be. 

The next week passed in a blur. I took care of everyone, got my own check ups, and stayed with the X-Men for classes.

And, with a lot of pleads to the Prof, I got to return home. 

It was midnight, and I stepped into the Shiba House. I looked into Jayden's bed room. He was asleep, for once. 

I walked in, kissed his forehead, and walked back to the doorway. 

"I'm home."
