He Ain't Heavy Metal, He's Mia's Brother

I know this episode is set in summer but for the fan fic it'll be set in February.

Soft guitar notes echoed through the Shiba House. It wasn't Antonio, since he was out. And it wasn't Evelyn, because she didn't have her guitar with her. 

Evelyn and Mike heard it too, so they headed outside, with Jayden and Emily following. 

A boy was out there, sitting on a marble bench. His head was bent low, and he was strumming the guitar note by note. 

"Ahem." Mike cleared his throat, and the boy looked up. 

"Hi. Can I help you?" Jayden asked. Seriously, that boy was the next Captain America in my eyes. 

"Hey guys. The name's Terry. I'm Mia's brother." The boy said quickly, and Jayden and Mike shared incredulous looks.

"So you're Mia's brother?" Mike asked, clutching Terry by the shoulders and pushing him through the main hall in the Shiba House. 

"All my life." Terry grinned. 

"Well, welcome to the Shiba House." Mike said. 

"This is really cool." Terry said, looking around. "So where is Mia, anyway?"

"She went to get groceries with Kevin." I piped up, finally. Terry turned to look at me. 

"You are... Who?" 

"I'm sorry, I'm Jayden's girlfriend, Ashlynn." I smiled. "I help the team out sometimes." 

"Nice to meet you. You're not going to let Mia cook, are you?" 

Emily laughed. "No, we've already learned that lesson." 

"Sis is good with a blade," Terry said, grabbing a training staff, "As long as it's not a kitchen knife." 

"What brings you to Paranorma, Terry?" Jayden asked. I wrapped my arms on his waist from behind. Jayden somehow managed to get out of my grasp, sneak behind me and mirror my prior actions. 

"I'm volunteering at the children's hospital. My parents think it'll get me to med school down the road." Terry answered, twirling the staff in the air like it was a baton. 

"Is there a demand for guitar playing doctors?" Mike asked, staring at the guitar Terry had on his back. 

"This? No, I'm trying to put together a gig. I was hoping Mia would sing." 

"Mia sings?" I asked incredulously. I could believe it though. Mia looked like a singer, once she had the right outfit and make up on. 

"Yeah, she's amazing! When we were kids, we were going to be the world's greatest band! But then the whole power rangers thing.." 

The alarm blared. 

I turned in Jayden's arms and gave him a small peck. "Be safe." I whispered before he ran off. 

"I will, Ash." Jayden promised, then ran off with Kevin. 

"Speaking of which, we'd love to stay but..." 

"It's fine. Go save the world, I'll just... hang out with Ashlynn, her friend, and Mentor. They seem pretty cool." Terry said. I looked over to Evelyn, who blushed. Someone's got a crush. 

Mentor took the training staff away from Terry with a warning look.

We sat on the green seats in the meeting room.
