Y/n's POV
Hajime and Yue spent some time explaining what genders were and how boys differed from girls, but I didn't really understand most of it since it was confusing. Hajime looked at the body of the monster we just killed before talking about what it was made up of. I sat in front of Yue watching as Hajime crafted another weapon. This time, it was really big before Yue got up and walked behind Hajime. "What is that you're making?" Yue asked.
"It's a weapon. An anti-material rifle meets a rail gun." Hajime said.
"What's that?" I asked. Hajime looked at me before sighing. "I'll explain it later. For now, just think of it as a bigger and stronger gun than Donner." Hajime explained. I nodded before he explained the ammo that he was using in Donner and in this new gun. "All done. Let's see now, this one's name is Schlagen." Hajime said. Yue started asking a bunch of questions about Hajime before he started explaining everything. After we spent the night there with me, not sleeping very much, we started going deeper into the dungeon. Yue and I walked behind Hajime most of the time before setting up camps on different floors. As Hajime told his story to Yue and me, Yue started crying about something as we rested. "Oh? Why are you crying?" Hajime asked.
"It's just so sad. You suffered just like me. Look, even Y/n is crying." Yue said. I reached up and touched my face, finding water or something coming down my cheeks and from my eyes. "What's going on?" I asked, trying to wipe the water away.
"Those are tears. Most people cry when they hear something sad, but you're still learning what it means. It's okay to cry if you need to. Besides, you shouldn't be sad. I don't give a crap about my classmates anymore. I don't even want revenge for what happened. All I care about is getting as strong as possible. I have to do my all to survive so I can go back home." Hajime said. Yue stopped crying before looking up at Hajime. "Back home?" Yue asked.
"Yeah, that's the plan. I mean, sure, a lot has changed about me, but getting back home is still my ultimate goal." Hajime said.
"I'd say the same, but I have no home now." Yue said. Hajime stopped talking for a moment, looking at Yue. "Aw man... How about you come with me, then? Back to my home, I mean. It might be pretty boring. The world I come from doesn't have any magic in it, but we can figure something out. What do ya think? You don't have to. It's totally your choice, sound good?" Hajime offered.
"You're sure? What about Y/n? Would he be able to survive there? We can't just leave him here alone." Yue said. Hajime just smiled at Yue before Yue smiled. "Can I really come?" I asked. Yue and Hajime laughed as I looked between them. "Sure, guess we have a lot to teach you until then." Hajime said. I smiled before turning and seeing a monster stepping on some flowers that were on the ground. After watching it stepping on the flowers for a bit, the monster turned and started running at us. Hajime grabbed his backpack before taking off running. Yue was on top of Hajime's backpack while I was running alongside him, avoiding getting eaten by the monsters. As we continued running, for a bit more of the monsters started chasing us. "Speed up Hajime, Y/n." Yue said.
"You're way too calm right now. What the hell are these dinos? No matter how many of them I slaughter they just keep coming." Hajime complained.
"Actually there might be even more." Yue said.
"There are, Hajime has killed a bunch, but I think more keep appearing." I agreed with Yue.
"Not helping Y/n! How's that possible? Not to mention they've got flowers growing out of their heads." Hajime shouted.
"I think they're kind of cute." Yue said, giggling.
"Are you kidding me? Then why was the one earlier trampling them?" Hajime asked. As he said that he gasped about something before I realized that the flowers seemed similar to a monster for some reason. "Great, maybe those flowers are like parasites." Hajime said.
