Chapter 15 Onto the Next Journey

Y/n's POV

We had made it to the Gruen Desert, but before we could start driving through it, papa made me get off my bike and forced me to ride with everyone in the car even if it was already packed. "It's really awful out there, Tio. If it wasn't for Hajime's Brise, we'd be in trouble." Shea commented.

"You're right about that, Shea. This is no place I'd be willing to enter if I had any choice in the matter." Tio agreed.

"It's very different from the last time I was here. It's much cooler and my eyes don't even hurt. Papa is so awesome." Myu said. 

"I agree. Papa Hajime is awesome indeed." Kaori said. I sighed, already getting tired of the fighting between mama and Kaori. "Do you want some cold water, Myu?" Kaori asked. 

"Yes please, I'm very thirsty." Myu said. Kaori pulled out one of the bottles of water that papa had prepared before he spoke up. "Hey, Shriasaki..." Papa started. Kaori glared at him as he called her that instead of her first name. "Kaori. Please stop calling me papa Hajime. It makes me feel so uncomfortable." Papa explained. I nodded in agreement with papa since it always sounded weird when Kaori used it. "Huh? But that's what Myu and Y/n call you and you don't seem to mind them doing that." Kaori pointed out. 

"That's way different. Myu and Y/n are kids. Well... Y/n's sorta a kid, but either way. Having a classmate call me papa is just awkward and weird." Papa explained. 

"Okay, I won't call you that then. But just you wait. One day when I have a baby, I'll teach them too." Kaori said. I felt mama turn and face Kaori some since I was sitting in her lap as papa drove. "Sorry, but I have a prior claim. He promised me." Mama started. Kaori gasped a little as she heard mama say that before I changed into a smaller monster and moved to the back of Brise. "Trying to escape the fighting?" Shea asked. I nodded as I changed back into myself, but this time my bangs had Jet black, Black, golden blonde, pale blue, and white mixed together. "Woah, Y/n. Your bangs are divided into different sections of color." Tio pointed out. I tried to look at them before summoning a mirror from my storage so I could see the change. "That's weird. I didn't mean to do that." I said, looking in the mirror at my bangs. Mama and Kaori were still talking about how mama was going to start making babies with papa before Kaori. "We have plans for a date in Hajime's hometown, too." Mama admitted. Kaori went pale like a ghost as she heard their plans. "There's so much that I know about Hajime that you don't, Yue. Like his future aspirations, his hobbies." Mama sighed, a little clearly defeated in that part of being close to papa. "For example, do you even know what Hajime's favorite anime and Manga are?" Kaori asked.

"Well, I um..." Mama started. She paused for a second before facing away from Kaori. "That doesn't matter anymore. Those things don't exist in this world." Mama countered. 

"Really, even though Hajime looks like an anime character now?" Kaori asked. Papa hit his head against the steering wheel as Kaori mentioned how he looked. "His weapons are familiar, too. Like his new one, the Cross Bit, was it? That's totally based on the funnel from that one show." Kaori pointed out. Papa hit his head against the steering wheel again, which made me giggle. "Please. Please shut up." Papa begged. Mama stayed silent, but I could tell she was trying to find something that Kaori didn't know about papa. "How can you act like you won when you know nothing about the things he loves?" Kaori asked. 

"Bold words, Kaori. I can tell you something he loves, something much more meaningful." Mama said. Mama's dark aura slightly returned as she looked over at Kaori. "What he likes in bed." Mama said. Kaori gasped and blushed while Shea, Tio, and I just looked at the fight. "Big sister, Yue and big sister Kaori are always fighting. I don't like it when the big sisters are mean to each other." Myu said, getting their fighting to stop.
