Chapter 14 Saving the Hero Party

Y/n's POV

I looked around, seeing a woman standing there looking at us with a bird on her shoulder. There were a bunch of other people sitting there injured. "That's Hajime!" The girl wearing a white and blue dress shouted. 

"Wait... you can't be serious... hold on, I don't understand how... This is just insane. I can't believe you're standing there. No, really, what the hell is going on?" The girl next to her said.  

"Damn, calm down. You're supposed to be the cool and collected one. Remember?" Papa reminded. Shea, Tio and Myu came right after mama as she used her magic to stop them from hitting the ground too hard. Endou bounced off mama's spell before falling headfirst into the ground. "Hey guys. I brought us some help from the surface." Endou said, looking at everyone else. The party was shocked to see Endou as I heard a bunch of monsters growling as their eyes glowed in the darkness of the cave. "Yue, you're on guard duty to keep the others safe." Papa ordered.

"Right." Mama answered.

"Shea, you head over there and check on those fallen knights." Papa said.

"All over it." Shea answered. Mama and Shea went to where papa had ordered them to go leaving, Tio, Myu and me with him. "Tio and Myu, take out the weaklings." Papa said.

"Of course, master." Tio said.

"Yay! That sounds fun!" Myu cheered. 

"Okay then, that leaves you and me, Y/n. Want some demon magic?" Papa asked. I thought about it before nodding. "Sounds like fun." I said. He smirked before patting my head. "Hajime!" The girl in the blue and white dress called.

"I've got this. Just sit tight." Papa said. Tio walked over to them, looking at the girl. "Please allow us to handle these beasts." Tio said.

"We're strong." Myu added. The woman with the bird on her shoulder smirked before laughing some. "Pretty bold of you to split your party before you know what you're up against." The woman said.

"If you don't feel like dying, then you're free to leave." Papa said.

"What?" The woman asked.

"We're just giving you a chance to run away before we kill you." I answered.

"How dare you! I'll make you regret your foolish words when you die by my hand." The woman threatened. Her irises glowed red as she glared at the two of us. "If you're going to be our enemy, I'm going to have to rescind my offer." Papa said. I noticed that something was getting close to us using magic to be hidden before papa stuck his hand into the air next to him. "Look out!" Someone shouted. 

"Okay, I'll bite. What the hell is this half-assed magic of yours?" Papa asked, pulling a dead monster out of the air. 

"That's cool. Can I learn that spell?" I asked.

"Maybe, but you might just have to copy her to learn it. Let's do this." Papa said. I nodded as he drew his pistol while I raised my hands in the air. I started using the lightning magic I had picked up from traveling around and mimicking monsters. Papa and I easily killed most of the hidden monsters that were invisible by using magic. The woman with the bird gasped as she looked at us. "How could you have possibly known where they were?" The woman asked. The monsters turned to dust before she waved her arm, sending little monster cats at us. I stepped forward as I heard papa reloading his guns before using some gravitic magic to crush the cat monsters. The wolf monsters charged towards us next, which papa used his guns to take out while I used the strength from mimicking Shea to crush them with my hands. We continued taking out monsters as they rushed towards us. When we got surrounded, papa and I jumped into the air while I used my lightning magic to kill the monsters that had gathered around us. We used Air Walk and Quick Step to get close to the monsters before sending down a barrage of magic and bullets to kill them. Once the monsters turned to dust, we landed in front of the woman with the bird as two giant monsters with different heads stepped forward to defend her. They lunged towards us, but papa shot one, blowing it up while I punched the other, doing the same thing. Something roared as I turned to see what looked like a giant turtle monster stepping out in front of us. It was charging a magic attack before papa stepped in front of me and summoned the shield he used against Tio.
