Me and Mianmian are trapped on one side of the cave and the others are trapped in the smaller chamber of the cave while the tortoise is still on a rampage.

One of our disciples says "I think this is the cave of XuanWu, we've all heard the stories of the killing tortoise and we all agree that we need to leave this cave. A few of the disciples make their way to the slope and walk up but come back down quickly exclaiming that the entrance has been sealed off by large rocks.

A bit of panic ensues and then Lan Zhan says "There is another way out"

Mianmian and I slowly worked our way over to the others while XuanWu was eating the dead after our battle. "How?" I ask my husband.

He looks at the water "Maple leaves."

I look at the water and then think back to our trek here "The only maple trees are at the beginning of the trail not near the cave."

He nods "They are coming in from another path."

I smile "There must be a water opening."

Jiang Cheng being from Yunmeng you are the strongest swimmer here, I'll distract XuanWu, see if you can find a way out through the water, will you?"

He nods and everyone moves as far away from the area I will be drawing XuanWu to. I throw a fire talisman and sure enough, it draws his attention. Jiang Cheng slides quietly into the water while I keep a steady line of fire drawing XuanWu's attention.

Jiang Chen comes back out of the water and silently moves to us "There is an underwater exit about five or six men wide, we can get out that way, the water flow is gentle, and there are several air pockets along the way.

I nod "Everyone, follow Jiang Cheng, the ones who can swim help the injured and the ones who can't swim."

Jiang Cheng scolds me "You aren't staying, I'm not leaving without you."

I nod "I'll be right behind you but I need to distract this thing so you all can escape." I lower my voice so that only he can hear me "Remember who I am and who my parents are, I will be fine, you don't have to worry about me, I can get out, I just can't do it in front of everyone here you know that."

He sulks but nods in agreement, I expect to see you in the next few days Lan Wuxian do you hear me?"

I smile and nod "I understand, now go and help them escape."

Lan Zhan and I distract the beast while the others make their way out of the cave. We move to a small chamber after everyone leaves and I look at him "Lan Zhan, XuanWu has concentrated resentful energy, I think we need A-Die for this one."

He nods "Alright, contact him, we will sit here until he shows up."

I nod and whisper to the butterfly he attached to me and it flies off. We take this time to rest, it's been a long while since we've rested and we could both use it.

A-Die shows up a few hours later "Where is it?" He asks us as he walks into the chamber we have been resting in.

We walk back into the larger chamber and I point to the large rock "It's there, that large rock is actually the shell of XuanWu."

He nods "There is definitely something there, the resentment energy is too concentrated, it's probably inside the shell."

I grimace "Does that mean we have to go inside it?"

He grins "I should say yes just for my own amusement, but I won't do that to you, no I can call it to me, it's mine remember? I've already secured the yin iron you two had, I'll take this piece and put it with the other. There are still three pieces that you've yet to find."
