My seventeenth birthday is in less than a day, Lan Zhan has informed me that as his husband and now a Lan, I will get a title on my seventeenth birthday. I'm really surprised I thought it was just the blood descendants but it's not.

Lan Zhan and I are walking to breakfast when Nana pops in right behind us, grabs us by the shoulders and pops all of us in front of Qiandeng Temple.

We look at her quizzically "Nana why are we here? What's going on?"

She keeps a stern look on her face and says "Come with me"

Nana has never been this way with me before and it has me a little concerned. We follow her to the low table in front of the altar where a solemn-faced Baba and A-Die are waiting.

I smile at them "Hi Baba, A-Die, why the long faces?"

Nana goes and stands next to my fathers leaving Lan Zhan and I standing there in bewilderment, I look over at him and he takes my hand and then looks back at the three powerful beings standing before us.

A-Die looks at the two of us "Sit down" he says in a serious voice.

I frown and we sit "Did we do something wrong?" I ask a little scared.

Baba shakes his head "No baby but what we are going to speak about is very serious and we need both of you to be mature and take what we say with the utmost seriousness."

I swallow hard and nod, Lan Zhan nods and tightens his hold on my hand. "We promise we will listen and take everything seriously."

Lan Zhan hums "Mn"

Nana sighs "I was able to trace our blood A-Ying." She says and places something small on the table.

My eyebrows crinkle in confusion as I look at the Daruma doll. "I don't understand Nana what are you talking about? What's with the Daruma doll?"

Baba takes a deep breath "A-Ying remember the stories we told you about how me and your A-Die were able to become pregnant with and have you?"

I nod then look at each one of them, tears springing to my eyes, my hand wrapping around Lan Zhan's in a death grip. "That's my baby isn't it?" I ask as a tear hits my cheek.

Nana nods "Yes baby it is, I can do for you and Wangji what I did for your Baba and A-Die, I can add Wangji's genes and make this baby both of yours but this child will have another set of genes besides yours and Wangji's. It will also have the genes of the woman who took your seed."

I frown nodding "Do you know who she is?"

"I know very little right now, I know that she's an immortal and is currently in Qishan Wen Sect territory. I was mainly concerned about tracing our blood, I took your baby from her womb after I made sure it was implanted and stable. The baby is about three weeks along, almost exactly where you were when you were put in your Baba's womb."

Baba clears his throat "You both now have to make a choice, you can add Wangji's genes to this child and A-Ying can carry and birth it or you can do nothing and it will cease to exist soon."

I feel anxious and nervous about this I look at Lan Zhan

Husband, what do we do? I'm scared.

I know my Lan Ying I am too; we are young but not incapable of raising our child. We have two strong families that will support us if we choose to become parents so soon.

So you think we should do it?

I think that our child is a blessing for us.

I nod There will be people who may come after us, especially the woman who is a part of this baby.
