Chapter 37

It doesn't take long before an extremely pissed-off goddess of magic comes storming into the temple followed by Baba.

"Where is my baby boy?" She asks concern lacing her voice.

I sit up and pull away from Lan Zhan, she pulls me up and holds me close kissing my head and patting my back. "It's alright my beautiful baby, you don't worry about anything. Now let Nana see this collar."

She looks at it and her face shows anger, she snaps her fingers and it moves from my neck to her palm. She looks at the markings on it, looks over at Baba then frowns. I feel my power, strength and stamina come in a rush that has me feeling woozy, I list to one side and Lan Zhan wraps his arms around me, holding me steady.

"This isn't just a dampening cuff Xie Lian, this depletes a god's powers completely. This is very similar to the bands you had previously, and only another god that has enough power can remove it. Whoever put this on him knows he's a god, most likely knows that they both are." She says worried.

She looks over at me "Baobei do you know the person that put this on you?"

I shake my head "No Nana, I've never seen her before, she said someone very powerful gave it to her to use, she said he told her it would come in handy one day. I don't know what she meant by that though, as far as I can tell none of the Wens know about us."

I put my head down feeling ashamed "She, she did something to me and took the um" I can't figure out how to say this to my grandmother.

She cocks her head and gives me a loving look "It's ok baobei, Xie Lian already gave me some of the information, you don't have to say anything more about it and there is absolutely no reason for you to feel shame. This was not your fault, this was done without your consent and that's not ok. I love you, my precious boy, we all love you and don't worry your family will take care of this." She runs her hand over my hair soothingly.

"Do you have any ideas about why she would take his" Lan Zhan asks, his ears turning red.

Baoshan sighs "If this woman knows magic then there are a multitude of possibilities as to why she wants it. If she doesn't then there are only a few possibilities one specifically comes to mind."

I look at her "Like what? Why would someone want that from me?"

Baoshan pauses, A-Die scratches his neck and Baba clears his throat "Son you are young but you understand the reproduction of humans right?"

I tilt my head quizzically "Yeah, I may be new to intercourse, but I still know how babies are made. Why?"

He takes a breath "Well, what she took from you is part of what can create a baby."

Still not understanding I ask "So?"

He frowns "So, if your seed is placed inside of a fertile female it can result in a baby son."

I look at him confused "But we didn't have sex, so how is that possible Baba?"

Baba looks at Baoshan "Help me out here Lady Baoshan, I'm not explaining this well."

Baoshan nods and smiles at me before grabbing my head and sending me detailed information and images of how reproductive organs work internally.

I gasp "She's going to use my seed, to-to make a baby?" I tear up.

Nana sighs "It's a possibility if she's not using it for magical purposes, baby. We need you to understand what the possibilities are my love."

I look at Lan Zhan as a tear falls "This is supposed to be a decision between us husband, I want us to be the fathers of our children no one else." I whisper.
