Jitin was a talented man, but his aggressive behavior had cost him many jobs. His wife, shweta, was fed up with his lack of employment and the constant financial strain it put on their family. They had been arguing for months, and jitin had been unemployed for over a year.

Shweta was the only breadwinner in the family, and she was working long hours to make ends meet. Jitin's younger twin sister, sonali, had also recently lost her job because she was unable to work late nights. Shweta had made jitin responsible for picking sonali up from work every night, but he had often been late, which had led to sonali getting into trouble with her boss.

One night, jitin got into an argument with sonali's boss, and sonali ended up losing her job. Shweta was furious. She blamed jitin for their financial situation and for ruining sonali's life.

"i can't take this anymore, jitin," shweta said. "you need to find a job, or i'm leaving you."

Jitin knew that shweta was serious. He had been taking her for granted for too long.

Jitin is sitting at his computer, scrolling through job postings. He sighs and rubs his temples.

Jitin: (to himself) i can't believe it's been so long since i was last employed. I'm starting to feel like i'm never going to find a job.

He clicks on a job posting that seems promising. He reads the description carefully.

Jitin: this sounds like a good fit for my skills and experience. But the salary is awfully low. I don't know if i can afford to work for that much.

He closes the job posting and opens another one. He reads the description carefully.

Jitin: this job pays better, but the expectations are ridiculous. They want me to work 60 hours a week for no extra pay. That's not sustainable.

He closes the job posting and sighs again.

Jitin: i'm starting to lose hope. Why can't i find a job that's a good fit for me?

He stands up and walks over to the window. He looks out at the city below.

Shweta, sonali, and lata are sitting at the dining table, eating dinner.

Sonali shweta, have you talked to jitin about the job at your company?

Shweta yes, i did. But i told him that i don't think it's a good idea.

Sonali but why not? It's a great opportunity for him.

Shweta i know, but i'm not sure if he's right for the job. He's been behaving really strangely lately.

Lata what do you mean?

Shweta well, he's been very rude and dismissive to me. And he's been making a lot of inappropriate comments.

Sonali oh, shweta, i'm so sorry to hear that.

Shweta it's okay. I just don't want him to ruin his chances of getting a good job.

Sonali well, you need to do what you think is best. But i think you should reconsider the job offer. It would be great for jitin to have a job that he enjoys.

Shweta i'll think about it. But i'm not sure if i can bring myself to recommend him for the job.

Sonali understandable.

Jitin has been eavesdropping on their conversation from the kitchen. He is hurt by what he has heard. He feels like shweta is betraying him.

Jitin (to himself) i can't believe she's saying that about me. I've done nothing wrong.
