At this moment, a girl is seen walking along the street with a file in her hand. She glances around with her (H/C) hair flowing behind her as she looks around to find the destination marked on her phone.
She'd seen a lot of articles about this mysterious individual who could enter a photo. She had never believed it before, but at this point she was desperate. She moved slowly before abruptly stopping in front of a tall building. She had sort of imagined a more posh location, so this shabby run-down structure was unexpected, but she still headed towards it.
--
(Y/N) was never honest about her feelings when she was younger. She was often guilty of keeping her feelings to herself. Yes, her parents loved her, but that's all. They never expected her to accomplish anything. They never held her to any standards. She therefore constantly craved attention. from anyone—her family, friends, or teachers.
Then all of a sudden, her actions were motivated by the desire of attention and appreciation. She had been successful in creating a twisted personality whose only goal was to win praise.
Oh, but what a joke her life was; all the suffering she had endured to develop her 'perfect' persona had been in vain. People clearly detest attention seekers, which is why at that young age, she was labeled as a "annoying attention seeker."
People loathed her even more because she kept trying to have that one personality that everyone adored. She thus turned into someone who only existed. Never glancing, never making loud movements that reveal her presence.
If nobody praises her,
Perhaps there's nothing to be praised about her.
Perhaps
She is the one with the problem.
Simply put, a useless individual.
These were her exact thoughts.
"Schools over (Y/N)"
With a sigh, the class teacher informed her. The teacher was particularly concerned about her because the only times she was seen speaking were when she had to respond to a question. She'd never seen her around other people.
Simply staring mindlessly out the window. She occasionally carried a chocolate milk can with her.
"Ah ok ma'am," (Y/N) answered, not bothering to look up in anticipating the sorrowful face. She got up, bowed a little, and moved to walk out the entrance of the classroom.
The final student leaving the classroom was her.
--
As she walked out of the school building, she saw the basketball court and the field. As she walked slowly in the direction of her house and took in the view, she sipped some of the chocolate milk that she had bought.
She hadn't expected to see anyone because it was so late. So when she noticed a lone boy on the basketball court, it was obvious that she was surprised.
His messy black hair indicated that he had been here for a while. He was holding the basketball tightly in his hands and gazing at the hoop while panting heavily and maintaining a serene expression. His white shirt with the collar open seemed a little adhered to his body because he was sweating a lot. She saw his brown eyes and how he gripped the ball with his long fingers.
She had stopped dead in her tracks to look at him. She was shocked he existed at all because he appeared to be such a ethereal figure.
She watched as he tossed the ball into the hoop, then sighed, picked it up, and walked over to the benches. He sat sulking, mumbling a few words while running a hand through his hair. Before resting his blazer carelessly on his shoulder, he grabbed his bag and stuffed his basketball inside.
She watched the scene as if it were a movie. Observing all his tiny movements. She was attracted to the boy's drowsy expression and she would had stood there for a longer time but the boy suddenly became aware of her presence and gave her a questioning glimpse before scowling as she had fled.
(Y/N) sighed in relief and thanked her for her swift reflexes as she ran towards her house. She had been alarmed when he noticed that she had been staring at him, and just ran.
But,
She hoped to meet him the next day.
He appeared celestial.
She also had a ton of time to burn.
