"Uhhh I'm bored" (Y/N) murmured, letting out a yawn.
Once more, she was the only student remaining in her class after everyone else had gone home. She would deny it, but at this point, she simply stays back to watch Cheng Xiaoshi play; it has become routine to her. She felt a different kind of excitement when she saw him playing on the court, sometimes with the white-haired guy and sometimes by himself.
She felt as though everything around her had stopped, and it was just her watching him play...
That's why she was irritated today.
'...he's running late today' She frowned and tapped her fingernail on the table.
Even though it was already a long time until he usually showed up, he was nowhere to be found today.
She stood up, looking very puzzled, and walked toward the window to have a better view of the court.
'I wonder where he is...'
As she kept staring out the window, she heard the sound of shoes walking closer to her. She turned around curiously to see who it was.
With that familiar dark hair and the genuine smile that was plastered on his face, (Y/N) right away recognized the boy.
With small steps, the boy approached her while holding something behind his back.
She watched as he crept closer, a gentle wind brushing over the back of her head.
"Cheng Xiaoshi...?"
As he heard his name from her mouth, you could see his smile getting bigger. He came to a stop inches from her face. The boy gradually showed the thing he had cleverly hidden behind his back (not) and titled his head in question.
"You're always alone yourself when you watch me play, soo"
With a light pink blush dusted on his face, he seemed embarrassed all of a sudden.
"Hey, wanna play with me~?"
He proudly showed her the basketball which was on his hand.

Lu Guang motioned for (Y/N) to take a seat and set a cup of coffee in front of her. They sat in silence, each of them wanting to ask a million questions, but neither of them knew where to begin.
"Yo-" the boy began.
The girl also began, "Che-"
Lu Guang, who had not seen the girl in years, gestured for her to start first, causing her to cringe within.
The girl took a deep breath and asked, her face plastered with regret.
"....How is he doing?" her face had a sort of a strained smile.
The white-haired boy's eyes widened when he heard her question.
The girl appeared to have lost feelings for Cheng Xiaoshi based on how his two friends had ended things, but here she was, Cheng Xiaoshi's well-being as her first question.
What irony.
Although (Y/N) appeared sorrowful at the moment, he was unwilling to forgive her so readily.
The boy let out a sigh.
"What brings you here?" With keen eyes, the boy observed every action she made, as if to see right through her true intentions.
"Are you here to see him?" the boy asked with a tone that was laced with cruelty. His eyes scanned her face for an answer while the girl sat in silence.
