Chapter 35: Wedding Gone Horribly Wrong

(Third Person POV)

Peach was already out of bed, and forced to wear this ridiculous wedding gown with shades of pink in it. She felt like her life was ending and... she couldn't even smile. How was she supposed to? Besides, Sonic hasn't even moved an inch since last night. She turns around to see him out like a light. Ethan the wisp however started to worry that something was wrong with him.

"Peach? Do you think he's okay?" Ethan asked.

"I hope so."

She walks over to him, his ears perked out from under the covers of the bed. Peach softly pats him, hoping he's slightly awake.

"Hey. Um, I just want to let you know that... I'm hopefully gonna find a way... out of this." She said, trying not to cry.

No response. Not even a murmur no less. Just... shivering breaths. Feeling bad, she gives him a soft hug. Suddenly, she heard voices outside.

"But I wanna see her!" Said Bowser.

"You can't look at her before seeing her! Bad luck on a wedding day!" Metal said.

"Just get your ass down to the alter already!!!" Blue shell yelled.

She heard the stomping of loud footsteps fade away as the parlor room doors open to have Metal and the Koopa General walk in.

"Hi Peach!" Metal said.

Peach turns away as the two generals came in. She swore she heard Sonic quietly groan in his sleep, but her attention was focused on the metal general and the spiky shelled bastard. Metal had a bouquet of pink flowers in his hand.

"Um, here. Bowser tried to use phiranah plants as a bouquet but I picked a few from your gardens." Metal said, softly.

"Enough about that! We've come to deliver the good news!" Blue shell said.

"What news?"

"The wedding! It starts in five minutes! Aren't you excited?!"

Peach stood still, walked closed, and slaps the blue shelled Koopa.

"Shut up! How can I be excited when you killed the one person who would've helped me defeat your pathetic excuse for a king?! All your kind wants to do is control me!" she snarled.

"You're not excited. And I'm sorry." Said Metal.

Peach looked confused. The robot was showing... sympathy?

"What?!" Blue Shell scolds.

"It's true! I feel bad for her! What, I can't be honest?"

"Ugh. You what? I'm gonna fight about this. Wedding is in five minutes, Sonic's not invited, get your butt down to the alter as soon as you can. I am gonna stay here and make sure the little rat doesn't get out." Blue General said.

"What do you mean?" Metal asked.

"Let's just say Kamek's gonna rewrite some of his and her memories after this." Blue General said.

"Ugh, fine! But I am hanging onto his ring bag, the music box, his mom's sword, and his Nezuko plush to make you stop talking." Metal said.
