(Third Person POV)

The beautiful golden light started to replace the moonlit sky as the morning sun began to creep into the land below of the small town of Green Hills. The beginning of a new day was upon its citizens with several waking up getting ready for either school, work, going out, or as most people want... stay inside and be lazy. Nonetheless, the night slowly turned into a perfect shade of light blue with a few clouds here and there as the people greeted another day, beginning their daily habit of doing things.

At a certain small two-story house near the edge of the city's forest, its inhabitants remained sound asleep. Two, a human couple, and the other three in the very top of the house. One was sleeping in a bed shaped like a little kart with race car designs on the sides. His blue quills were peeking out from underneath the blankets and his red Puma shoes were on the left side next to his drawer full of collectives. When sunlight shone through the window, his blue pointy ears twitched a bit and rises from the warm soft surface and yawns as the blankets fell off his face. To his left, he sees his younger brother in a rocket shaped bed sleeping soundly with his two yellow tails poking out from the side of the bed. The blue kid remembers when he had to rearrange a lot of his things to make room for his siblings. At least his parents let him keep the bean bag chair and his comic book collection. Sadly, the old washing machine, tire swing, and a couple of street signs he found had to go. When you have too much stuff, you have to get rid of it to make room for more. Now on the left, his little brother's area where his computer, tool kit, and building table quietly sat. To his right, he sees his older brother in a yellow truck bed next to a punching bag and books on Kung Fu. The blue kid rubs his eyes and gets out of bed, slipping on his shoes and grabs a bag full of rings he's had since he was just a child.

Opening the door of the attic, he yawns once more and walks down to the bathroom. As he opens the bathroom door, he grabs a stool and looks in the mirror to see a reflection of himself. His tired emerald green irises having a hard time readjusting to the light, his quills were all messy, and the plaque on his teeth didn't make the morning any better. Grabbing a green toothbrush and squirting out cavity protection toothpaste, he brushed his teeth till the yellow stains were gone. His tired smile now had a pearly white shine to it. The blue creature washes his face with water and looks at his white gloves. Sometimes he's taken them off for showering and hand washing, but he's thought of them as good luck charms. Looking at his quills, he pulls out a hairbrush in the drawers and combs till the tangles are out.

"C'mon, Sonic. Gotta get up and get ready since summer has started. And what better way to kick off summer than to find adventure? You're Sonic the Hedgehog after all!" He said.

Sonic has enjoyed his life on Earth for the last few years. It took some time for the hedgehog to get used to earth's culture, but he wasn't always living in a house. Before it was a cave of loneliness for a full decade. Until fate decided to take him on a journey across the land to find his rings and find his new family. But that was then; now he had just defeated his enemy once more and found himself new siblings to have fun with. It's been a year since his siblings moved in and he just turned fifteen. Although his last adventure came to a close, he'd been searching for a new one by fighting crime in other cities. His siblings would follow him incase he'd get a bit reckless out there like last time. Speaking of his siblings, at this rate they should be getting up and brushing their teeth by now! Maybe staying up watching three episodes of Murder Drones was a bad idea.

He walks back up to the attic bedroom to see his siblings still asleep. Walking over to his younger brother's area, Sonic gently rubs the little fellas cheek to get him up. His big yellow ears twitched as the blue hedgehog takes a step back and puts his hands to his sides as his little brother awakens. Miles Prower. He arrived on Earth to warn Sonic of a dangerous warrior who thought the blue blur was the key to finding a rare power. But after their great adventure, little Miles never thought his idol would also become his older brother.
