A year ago I went out with my family to a lake. Little did we know, the water was contaminated. I was the only one who got an ear infection, considering I was in the water the most. My parents thought it was a normal infection and just gave me eardrops. Time passed, and the pain got worst. Mom took me to the doctor and I was diagnosed with otitis media. They started treating it, and throughout the time I had to learn sign language because talking became uncomfortable for me.
