Andrew:
I couldn't look at Kiley, if I did, I would've probably ran towards her and hugged her. But I can't.
Tory and I were talking about the whole Kiley thing. She couldn't stop bringing up the topic so I told her we needed to talk.
It went well, and surprisingly she understood and left me alone. I went to my locker and opened it, a piece of paper fell on my feet. I picked it up and opened it.
My eyes widen as I read the note. Once I finished reading it I shoved the paper in my backpack and shut the locker, running towards Kiley's class.
I opened the classroom door, awkwardly looking at the students. Kiley wasn't looking, she was focused on reading her text book.
The teacher gave me a questioning look. "May I help you, Andrew?"
"Uh." I pressed my lips together as my gaze went from Kiley, to the teacher, and students. "Can I...talk to Kiley?"
The teacher nodded and went to Kiley, gently tapping her text book. Kiley's head shot up as she gave the teacher a questioning look.
She signed. 'Someone wants to talk to you.'
Kiley looked at me, straight in the eye.
I felt like the whole world stopped spinning all of a sudden. Just me and her.
Our silence saying a thousand words.
