I haven't gone to school in almost three weeks. I've been going to the doctor all these days to get my new medications.

The pills are supposed to help me with my hearing, and they are actually working. I'm hearing murmurs and faded noises sometimes. But maybe I'm hallucinating, though...

Mom and I are facetiming dad. His bruises seemed to have healed along with his scratches and wounds.

'How does it feel to be back in the field?' I asked with a small smile and a curious look on my face.

Dad grinned and replied back. 'It feels good, Ki. I'm healing and all, so I'll be back in no time.' He promised.

I nodded and smiled back.

Glancing at mom, I raised a brow as she signed. 'Give us some time alone, sweetie?' She asked.

I smiled and nodded, blowing a kiss at dad through the screen and walked away. I then heard noises.
