I was an hour early to school, my parents had to drop me off early because they had an important meeting.

Some students were talking at the front patio. As for me, I'm sitting on the stairs just staring up at the young morning sky.

Peace surrounded me, making me grin slightly. Until I heard fast footsteps approach me. I gazed forward.

Kiley was running towards me, a huge grin on her face. My eyes lightened up at the sight of her.

I stood up just as she gave me a bone-crushing hug. I chuckled, wrapping my arms around her small figure. We pulled away and she signed quickly.

'Guess what?'

I gave her a questioning look, a small smile still tugging at the corner of my lips.

'What?' I mouthed.

'My dad arrived yesterday.'

I gave her a smile of my own and chuckled. 'That's good to know, Ki.'

She was smiling, her eyes bright and twinkling with happiness.

She has a beautiful smile...
