Kiley:
"I miss this..."
His voice echoed in my head throughout all day. I couldn't concentrate on the test, my mind always wandered off to him.
His voice is so calm, deep, and soft. The way I imagined his voice was nothing compared to how it is.
I wanted to tell him I heard him, but I want to wait for the perfect moment. Cheesy, right? Not that that moment wasn't perfect, I just want to wait till I'm fully recovered. For now... I'll just wait.
We had last period free, which meant spending time outside or in the library.
Andrew and I were outside, at the swings. I sat on one of the swings as Andrew was sitting under a tree a few feet away. He had the some book on his hands I've never seen before.
He looked so focused as he read. His eyebrows furrwing and his lips pursed, made him look cute in a way.
Andrew glanced up at me and placed his book on his lap. He gave me a sly smirk and signed.
'Like what you see?'
I rolled my eyes whilst smiling and replied. 'Obviously.'
The tip of his ears turned slightly red as he turned back to his book, covering his face. I let out a silent chuckle and started swaying back and forth on the swing.
Such peace.
The sound of the wind brushing against my ears made me smile slightly. I forgot almost every sound each thing makes in this world.
I can't wait till I'm fully recovered.
I want to feel alive again.
Like Andrew makes me feel.
