JENNIE'S POV

When we finished eating we all moved into the living room and talked.

Auntie Hyesun, who was very impressed with Taehyung, had the most fun. She was always asking him questions or slipping him food.

On the other hand, there was an appa who didn't say a word. Until now.

''I heard that you work at Kim's Company. You must have a decent salary kid.'' appa suddenly said.

Taehyung coughed.

''Yes, I work there. You could say I rather own it.'' said Taehyung.

''What do you mean, boy.'' Auntie asked.

''Kim's Company is my family's company and I own it. I'm the CEO.'' Tae said.

''So you're a young billionaire who's breaking records. I hear you're pretty successful.''

''You could call it that.'' Taehyung said nervously.

I looked at my father and Taehyung and saw the uncomfortable tension between them.

''Well, how about we have a drink of something good? Tae will go help me in the kitchen and you two wait here for us.'' I said and led Taehyung to the kitchen.

''I think your father doesn't like me.'' Taehyung said to me.

''He just needs to get to know you better. Understand that I'm his only daughter and he's taken care of me since I was little and did whatever he could to make sure no one hurt me.'' I said as I poured the drinks.

Taehyung sighed.

''Don't worry, sweetheart. He'll love you.'' I hugged him around the neck.

Taehyung smiled at me and wrapped his arms around my waist and hid his whole face in my neck.

''You smell nice.'' he said calmly.

''Stop it. They'll see us.'' I laughed.

At that moment, Auntie came into the kitchen.

''Hey you two lovebirds. What's taking you so long.'' She smiled at us and took our drinks to the living room.

''I told you.'' I told him and led him into the living room again.

3RD POV

''Jennie can you help me with something!" yelled Mrs. Son at her.

''I'm running.'' she said and ran after her.

Mr. Kim and Taehyung sat there quietly looking all around.

Suddenly, Mr. Kim stood up and motioned for Taehyung to follow him.

They both went out into the garden.

''Can we talk man to man?'' Mr. Kim asked him.

''Certainly sir.'' said Taehyung.

''I'm sure you're asking yourself why I'm like this to you today. It's not because I don't like you for my daughter. I'm just worried about her. I don't want anyone to hurt her.''

''Neither do I, sir.''

''I can see it in you. You like her. I also see that you're a good guy and you make my daughter happy, and that's exactly what I want for my daughter. You also have a good job, so you will definitely be able to provide for your family in the future,'' Mr. Kim said.

''What about your family anyway, boy.'' asked Mr. Kim.

''Well. My family, it's a bit complicated sir. You know, I've only lived with my father and sister since I was little.'' said Taehyung.
