3RD POV

''What the hell is going on?'' said Jennie as she started pacing back and forth.

''Jennie calm down. What's wrong?" said Jisoo worriedly.

''First I get a message that my debts have been paid and now I get a call from the doctor who treats my appa that someone paid for the most expensive treatment and medicine for my appa and I don't even know who it is. What the hell is going on, Jisoo. This can't be a coincidence.'' Jennie said.

''It can't be, but we need to calm down Nini first. You're so stressed.''

When Jisoo said that Jennie just nodded, sighed and sat down on the couch.

''I'll go change and make you some soothing tea.''

Suddenly, the front door of the house opened.

''Honey! I'm home!" shouted Jin.

''Oh no Jin!'' said Jennie.

''Hi honey! Stay where you are and don't look!'' shouted Jisoo and ran upstairs quickly so Jin wouldn't see her.

''OK?" he kept his eyes closed, waiting for her to look.

''Can I come now?''

''You can now.'' laughed Jennie.

''What's wrong?'' he asked her.

''She was showing me the wedding dress Rosé made for her.

''Oh, yeah. I was afraid something was wrong. Otherwise, Jisoo already talked to you about...''

''She did. You don't have to worry. Tae and I will figure it out.'' she smiled.

''Thank you very much. I'm a little nervous about it you know.''

''I don't blame you. It must be very stressful for you. You're getting married in two weeks and you're going to be part of her family, especially the baby reveal.''

''Well, I'm more worried about Mr. Kim. Her father.''

''Then why? Don't you have a good relationship with him?''

''No it doesn't. On the contrary. He likes me I just don't know how he's going to face Jisoo being pregnant before the wedding. He himself wanted us to take our time and have the baby after the wedding.''

''I understand, but you'll see. Maybe she'll be fine.''

''I hope you're right. But he's been pretty angry lately and I can't really communicate with him.''

''Why?''

''It's because of Taehyung. Ever since Tae broke off the engagement between him and Irene he's just been like that. You know, I don't know if Tae told you everything about himself, but he's just been doing whatever he wanted with Mr. Kim since he was a kid and he's been really mean to him. I'm speaking from personal experience, but to the point. Now that Taehyung won't let him treat him like that, Mr. Kim is like a ticking time bomb.''

''Oh my God.''

''Exactly. He's trying to convince Tae to marry Irene at all costs.''

''He can't afford that.''

''Unfortunately, he can, and that's what I'm afraid of, him manipulating me and all that shit. He's a very powerful man, Jennie. The guy can pretty much do anything he wants.''

''I don't mean to scare you, but I can't even imagine what would happen if he found out you and Taehyung were together.''

When Jin finished saying that, Jennie looked at him in incomprehension.
