Part 44

3RD POV

It's been a few days since Taehyung arrived in Busan. In that time, Taehyung and Jennie have become very close. They both started to feel strong feelings for each other again, but neither of them had the courage to admit it to the other.

''Do you want to help?'' Taehyung asked.

''I don't need help with this, but thank you for asking.'' she gave him a sweet smile.

''Remember what the doctor told you? You should rest.'' he told her as he stepped closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

''I'm pregnant, Tae. I'm not sick or something.'' she said as she tried to get out of his grasp and go to cut the vegetables again, but Taehyung hugged her even tighter so she didn't have a chance to get out of his embrace.

''Tae! I have to chop the vegetables. Let go of me.''

''What if I don't want to let go and want to hold you forever.'' Taehyung lifted her chin to look at him, which worked.

Jennie was all embarrassed and blushed. She blushed even more when Taehyung leaned down to her ear.

''I'll help you with lunch, you don't have to worry about that. We have so much time before Auntie and the boys come back. How about we do something.'' he whispered in her ear.

''Pervert!'' she slapped his chest and quickly got out of his grasp.

Taehyung started laughing. 

At that moment, the front door opened.

''Mommy! Daddy! We're home!" the two boys called out.

A moment later, both boys ran over and straight into Taehyung, who hugged them.

''Daddy, look what grandma bought us.'' Jaehyun said with excitement, showing a red car.

''That's a nice car, Jaehyun.'' he praised the car to him.

''I have a little car too, but it's blue!'' Eunhyun called out to him.

''You both have, nice cars guys. Did you give your grandma a kiss and thank her?" he asked them and both boys nodded.

''Take the boys to the garden then. It's nice out. I'll help Jennie. We'll call you when lunch is ready.'' Auntie said to Taehyung as she walked into the kitchen.

Taehyung nodded and went to the garden with the boys.

''So, how are things between you two?'' asked Auntie.

''What?''

''You and Taehyung. How are you two?''

''We're fine.'' she replied.

''He's been here three days now and you've grown quite close in that time, Jennie. Has your relationship changed in any way?''

''We have two children together and are expecting a third, Auntie. It's normal for us to get along. And we're just friends, Auntie.'' Jennie replied.

''I know, but whenever I see the two of you together, you make me feel more than just a ordinary relationship. You both hug each other, smile at each other. They even sleep in your room. You call that just friends?''

Jennie sighed, not knowing what to say. Auntie was right. They're not just friends because friends don't act like that, but then what are they?''

At that moment Jennie's phone rang.
