Part 51

The whole day passed in a quiet Christmas mood. Taehyung and the boys went to the sea, which allowed Auntie and Jennie to finish the last few presents in peace. They also managed to prepare some delicious dishes like bulgogi, kimchi, japchae or jjolmyeon for the evening.

''I'm so glad we made it all. Now the main thing is to keep the boys out of the bedroom and Taehyung out of the fridge or we won't have anything left for us.'' Jennie laughed as she dumped a bowl of kimchi into the fridge.

''Don't worry. They'll be coming in from the beach soon to decorate the tree.'' As soon as Auntie finished, the three of them walked in through the door that was in the living room.

''Let's go take a quick shower and change so we can go decorate the tree.'' Taehyung told the boys.

''But I want to decorate now! Why can't we decorate the tree now?" asked Eunhyun.

''Because we're covered from sea water and in swimsuits.'' replied Taehyung.

''Mommy!'' called Eunhyun as he ran to hug his mommy.

''What's up sweetie?'' she hugged him and gave him a kiss on the top of his head.

''I want to decorate the tree already.'' he said sadly.

''I know honey, but like daddy said. You need to take a shower and change your clothes. You don't want your whole body to itch when you decorate the tree, do you?'' she asked him and he nodded.

''Go see your daddy and brother. I'll make you something good to go with the decorating.'' she told him as Eunhyun disappeared like a rocket from there.

Jennie moved to the kitchen and started to put some treats on the plate for her bears.

''Do you have any plans for Taehyung's birthday yet? You said you wanted to surprise him, but how are you even going to do that when he's still here?'' Auntie suddenly asked.

''I arranged with Rosé to fly here together with Jungkook. Jungkook will take Tae to the bar giving us time to prepare everything in the meantime. Don't worry I have it all figured out.'' she said as she spread jam on the sandwiches.

''Have you texted Jisoo to come too?''

''I texted everyone to come over to celebrate both Taehyung's birthday and Silvest. So far, Jimin and Momo have confirmed, Yoongi is coming with IU and Ahyeon, and Namjoon is coming with Seulgi and Johwa. So I think Jisoo and the others are coming too.''

''What about Soobin and Yeonyun?''

''Those two won't come because they're in Thailand. Yeonjun wants to propose to Soobin there.''

''That's sweet. Soobin will definitely call you right away.''

''I'm sure he will. He can't keep a secret for long. Telling Soobin a secret is like telling a rumor in a village. It spreads at the speed of light.'' She laughed, picked up the tray of sandwiches and carried it into the living room.

After a while, she went back to the kitchen to see her aunt again. She pulled out her phone, which was in her pocket, and started looking at something.

''Too bad Hoseok and Nayeon can't come too. I know what their duties are now because of Sunhye.'' Jennie said out of the blue.

''I know honey. The main thing is that they're both fine. When we get back to Seoul you'll visit them.''

''I still can't understand how it all went by so fast. Hoseok's a dad now, if I remembered Hoseok four years ago, I wouldn't have guessed he'd have a lovely wifeand daughter. We know what Hoseok was like - the king of salons.'' she laughed.
