3RD POV

ONE MONTH LATER

''Is everything okay?'' Mr. Kim asked Jennie.

''Everything is perfectly fine appa. I'm just a little behind and can't find my phone.''

''And you have everything packed? Otherwise, your phone is in the living room.''

''I do. I hope I'm not missing anything.'' she said and went to the living room. When she got there, she immediately noticed the cell phone that was on the sofa.

''Hyesun will be here soon.'' her father called out to her.

''Is Auntie coming?'' I asked him as she re-entered the kitchen.

''She should be here any minute.'' he said, taking a sip from his mug. At that moment, the doorbell rang.

''It must be Auntie. I'm going to answer it.'' she said and ran to the door.

When she ran to the door and opened it she saw Mrs. Son standing there.

''Hi Auntie. How have you been? I heard you were here yesterday.'' I told her and hugged her.

''Hi Jennie. I had a good time. Yes, I was here, but only for a little while. Your dad told me you were studying, he said you had too much.'' she said as she walked into the house and took off her shoes.

''I've got finals coming up and I've got an awful lot of work at work, so yeah. It's a bit much right now, but it's nothing I can't handle Auntie.'' Jennie said as she walked with her into the kitchen.

''Hi Woobin.'' Mrs. Son said to my dad.

''Hi Hyesun. What did you bring us?'' said Mr. Kim.

''I brought naengmyeon, bulgogi, kimchi and rice. I hope you like it.'' she started to put all the food on the table.

''It smells so good.'' said Jennie's appa.

''You're amazing auntie. Did you have a big job with this? You should have let me know. I would have helped you.'' said Jennie.

''I wasn't that busy. I like to cook, but if you want we can cook something together for next time.'' she said and smiled at me.

''Okay.''

''Let's eat. I'm very hungry.'' Mr. Kim laughed and started putting food on his plate.

''I'd like to have lunch with you, but I'm already short on time as it is and Rose and Nayeon will be picking me up soon.''

''Where are you going then? If you don't mind me asking.'' said Mrs. Son.

''Jisoo invited us to a bachelorette party. We're going to Jeju. We're staying with Jisoo, who has a private resort there or something. I won't be back until next week, so I wanted to ask you some more questions, Auntie.''

''Ask.''

''Couldn't you stay here with your father or at least see him a few times a day and make sure he takes his medicine? Yeah, and he's due for a check-up on Monday, so if you could go with him and...'' she didn't finish.

''Don't worry about anything Jennie. I'll stay here with your father and keep an eye on him. And I'll be there with her on Monday. Don't worry. Just make sure you and the girls have a good time.'' she smiled.

''Really? You're amazing, Auntie. I won't worry.'' Jennie said as she went to her room.

After a few minutes Jennie was finally ready to leave.

''Well, I hope I have everything.'' she sighed.

''Jennie! Rosé and Nayeon are here.'' came a voice from downstairs.
