So now that you know about the genders, or at least have a slight understanding of them, now I can explain what gender fluid actually is.
Gender fluid is when your gender changes randomly. You don't know what your gender will be the next day, or any day. It just kind of happens.
According to a lot of people, you don't exist. At all.
You aren't real. But then again bisexual and transgender people aren't real, so what really new? It's just that a lot more people don't think you are real.
When you come out to anyone, you have to explain the whole gender thing as well.
"What? There's more than two genders? I don't understand."
Well of course you don't understand, you've never put yourself out there enough to learn about the genders. It will take a long time to fully explain what gender fluid is, so just be prepared. You might want to bring visuals for them as well."So sometimes you're male, and other times you are female?"
Yes and no. You could be male, female, demi-male, demi-female, non-binary. You could be any gender there is. It gets confusing. You can be everything, or maybe even nothing.
People will ask you if there's something wrong with you.
Nope. Nothing wrong.
"But you wore a frilly dress yesterday and now you are wearing a suit?"
Oh, yeah I was a female yesterday and today I'm male.
"That makes no sense."
*commence the PowerPoint*
So you will have to explain who you are a lot. Just warning you now.In the end, just do what makes you happy. Don't care what others think, but care about what you think. It doesn't matter what others think of you. If you just be yourself, people that are like you will gravitate to you, and then friends and happiness all around.
You shouldn't be ashamed of who you are. If there's a person being rude and ignorant, then you have two choices.
A. Inform them of who you are, and tell them to stop, or
B. Get them out of your life. You don't need that kind of negativity.
