The definition of a sexual orientation is the attraction to genders.
Did you see that?
Genders.
Gender.
So, according to the definition, anything not having to deal with gender is not a sexual orientation. What are some examples of these not sexual orientations?
Pedosexual
Being attracted to children. Nothing about gender. Just age.
Sapiosexual
Being attracted to intelligence. Again, nothing to deal with gender. Just your IQ.
Lumbersexual
Being attracted to masculine, mountain man and lumberjack qualities. Not about gender. Just having a great beard and red flannels. Axe is optional.
Metrosexual
This one is literally just a fashionable man that takes time and effort to look good. Nothing about attraction at all.
Holosexual
Anyone else in this fandom? Holo glitter is so pretty, I'm low-key obsessed. Mainly because rainbows.
Demisexual
But you made a chapter on Demisexuals! Yes, I did. However, technically, it wouldn't really be a sexual orientation because it means you're attracted to people, you've gotten to know first. Most people are to some degree demisexual.
Thymesexual
An attraction to spices. No, you heard me right. Like spices you cook with, you want to get with them. Nothing to do with gender.
So these are some examples. Anything that doesn't specifically only say what gender you're attracted to, is not quite a sexual orientation. We cool? Cool.
As always, messages are open, you can request whatever, you should get the gist.
