How is everyone today? Lovely? Not so lovely? Well, I hope it gets better, in either case.

So, what is polygamy, and what is monogamy? Let's start with monogamy, as that is the more socially acceptable of the two.

Monogamy is when you're only cool with having one other person being your significant other. One boyfriend. One girlfriend. One buddy you like to mess around with every Wednesday and Saturday night at 11:30. The point is, only one person.

Monogamy is the route that most people go into. Cheating is a thing in this relationship.

Polygamy is when you're cool with having multiple significant others. Have a couple date mates. A bunch of wives and/or husbands. You know the show Sister Wives? That's a great example of polygamy.

Polygamy is also illegal in most of the world. You can't be married to more than one person, at least. In America, I think it's illegal everywhere except for Utah. Don't quote me on that, though.

Cheating isn't that much of a thing in polyamorous relationships. As long as everyone involved is open with their communication, it works.

It's perfectly fine to be either into monogamy or polygamy. Personally, I'm polyamorous. Just a fun fact.

Being polyamorous, however, does not mean that you will just go around dating everyone all the time. It just means you're open to any relationship that happens to cross your way. It keeps your options open, in a way.

If you've got any more questions, come message me! My inbox is always open, unless all you want to do is promote a story. I'm not into that. Please don't spam. It's exhausting. However, if you talk to me for a while and your writing just happens to pop into the conversation, chances are that I'll probably check it out.

I don't know where that all came from. Have a gay day!
