Athena's pov:

I walked into the big throne room and sat where the most  important decisions are made. The council people were all there, waiting and looking at me. But in my arms, I had my sweet Lulu, who represents innocence in this grand place.

Before sitting on the throne, I covered Lulu with a soft blanket, making a little safe space around her. It kept her away from everyone's eyes and protected her from the serious stuff going on.

While sitting on the big chair, Lulu snuggled in my lap. I took out a pacifier from a bag nearby and gently gave it to her, making sure she felt comfy and happy.

To make sure Lulu didn't get bothered by the council's talk, I put headphones on her ears to block out any loud or strange sounds. The gentle humming from the headphones created a nice bubble around her, keeping her safe from the grown-up discussions.

With these things in place, I started talking to the council, knowing my little one was safe and happy. It wasn't about leaving her out but more about being a caring mom, trying to shield her from the serious things adults deal with.

Seated on the throne, Lulu nestled securely on my lap, I directed my stern gaze towards the assembled advisors. "Advisors, have you all lost your senses? A witch entered our realm and my castle without detection! How could this happen?"

The room fell into an uneasy silence as the advisors exchanged uneasy glances. I continued, my voice cutting through the stillness like a blade. "Our defenses are supposed to be impenetrable. How did this intruder slip through undetected? You were entrusted with the safety of our realm, and you failed!"

The scholarly advisor, now visibly flustered, stammered a response. "Your Majesty, we... we are investigating the breach. It appears the witch had powerful enchantments to cloak her presence. We assure you, we will rectify this oversight."

I glared at them, my frustration palpable. "Rectify? This is not a matter of rectification; this is a matter of prevention! Our people rely on us for protection, and you've allowed a threat to infiltrate our very core."

The seasoned advisor, usually composed, spoke up. "Your Highness, we understand the gravity of the situation. Rest assured, we will bolster our defenses and implement additional wards to prevent any future breaches."

I sighed, my concern deepening. "I need results, not promises. Emma is now paying the price for our negligence. Every moment we waste in addressing this issue is a moment closer to potential disaster."

Xavier's father( Athena's previous friend and her ex little's daddy), a prominent figure among the advisors, dared to deflect responsibility. "Well, no one would dare threaten us if they didn't know our queen is growing weak," he remarked, a smugness in his tone that fueled the flames of my fury.

In an instant, I shot up from the throne, Lulu cradled protectively in my arms. With a swift motion, I seized Xavier's father by his robes, my fangs bared in a warning that left no room for misunderstanding.

"How dare you utter such insolence! , and no one  will question my authority . If you ever insinuate weakness again, you'll face consequences far graver than you can imagine."

The room fell into a stunned silence, the advisors exchanging uneasy glances. The audacity of the insinuation had triggered a primal reaction in me, a visceral need to protect my sovereignty and dispel any notion of vulnerability.

Releasing Xavier's father, I watched him stumble back, his arrogance momentarily shattered. The message was clear – disrespect, especially when it came to questioning my strength, would not be tolerated. Lulu, shielded from the tension by a dropped blanket and pacifier, remained oblivious to the political storm that raged around her.

Once the reprimand had been delivered, I resumed my seat on the throne, Lulu still safely cradled in my arms. My eyes scanned the room, taking note of the chastened expressions on the faces of the advisors. With a wave of my hand, I dismissed them, their hasty departure leaving the room in a lingering silence.

As the grand doors closed behind them, I let out a sigh, closing my eyes momentarily to collect my thoughts. The weight of responsibility pressed down on me, but as I opened my eyes, they fell upon Lulu, a beacon of purity and comfort.

Gentle circles traced across her back, a soothing gesture to calm both of our nerves. Lulu, nestled against me, looked up with those big, innocent eyes.

"Sweetheart," I whispered, my voice a soft lullaby, "we'll make sure everything is safe and sound. Mama will protect you, always."

Lulu responded with a contented sigh, her tiny fingers clutching at the fabric of my dress.

"Mama," she said, looking up at me with big, doe eyes ; A word that held the magic of a unique connection only a caregiver  and a little  could understand. she uttered, "Milkie."

i responded with a gentle smile, cradling her in my arms.

As she nestled close, I adjusted the blanket for her comfort. Lulu's tiny hands, now free from headphones that she had took off  and the paci , found solace in twirling strands of my hair. It was a comforting dance, a familiar rhythm that spoke ;Lulu let out a contented sigh as she began to nurse, her tiny eyelashes fluttered, and the world outside faded away.

The strands of my hair entwined in Lulu's tiny fingers, and I couldn't help but be enchanted by her. The simplicity of her actions, the way she found comfort in the twirl of hair, spoke volumes about the purity of a child's heart. It was a reminder that, no matter the challenges that awaited us beyond the throne room,

Bending down, I pressed a gentle kiss on Lulu's forehead, my heart swelling with love for this precious being in my arms. Cradling her even closer, I leaned back into the throne, finding a comfortable position. With my eyes closed, I allowed the weight of responsibility to momentarily fade away. Gently, I whispered, "I love you, baby," watching over Lulu as she slept peacefully in my arms.

Enjoy guys!
