Hey guys! This is going to be gender-neutral reader, by the way.

Also, just a quick note, this will be my last Fionna and Cake oneshot for now. I know that my whole thing since the beginning was Fionna and Cake, but since it's over, and I'm obsessing over other stuff now, I don't really want to write for Fionna and Cake anymore. Technically, Prismo is from both shows, so you can still request him. I'm still doing Adventure Time, but just nothing past Distant Lands. Yes, you can still request Simon, but no Winter King for now.

Also, sorry for taking so long to make this! I had very little motivation.

Anyways, thanks for reading, and onto the oneshot!
---------------------------------------------------------

You were sitting in the basement of the time room with your arms crossed. You didn't want to see Prismo right now. He, at least, let you watch TV, but he barged in every 5 minutes to check up on you.

"Heyyyy. I brought you some coffee. Don't worry! It has milk and sugar in it," Prismo said as he didn't visually have a coffee cup in hand, how could he, he's two-dimensional, but he "conjured" a coffee cup into existence next to you. You looked at it before huffing and going back to watching television.

This made him sigh. "Listen, I know you're mad at me, but this way, you'll be safe. Added bonus, you don't really age, so no more growing pains?"

You grumbled and looked at him. "Safe from what?"

"Other people..." Prismo responded.

You grumbled again. "This is just because you're too petty to let me hang out with other people! Just because I have friends doesn't mean that it's the end of the world for you!"

"I'm not petty! I just love my partner. Sooo much~," Prismo countered, in a flirty tone, as he got close to you and made a kissy face towards you, to indicate he was trying to blow you kisses. Seeing as you two are different dimensions, it didn't quite work that well.

You just took a sip of your coffee, which was surprisingly good, and kept watching TV.

"Is there any chance you can, like, manifest a sandwich or something?" You asked him, feeling hungry. You were not giving up on leaving this place. It was just too early (or late?) for you to care about anything other than food.

Prismo's eyes lit up for a second. "Of course! With or without pickles? I hope you know this is a life-or-death question."

You sighed. "Sure, why not?"

He left you with a thumbs-up, saying he'd be right back with "the most amazing and delicious sandwich you've EVER had," which wasn't that far of a stretch. He would do anything for you, and when it comes to food, he tends to make everything come out perfectly.

You looked over at the door after he left, and after fully determining that he had left, you dashed upstairs.

You quickly went up the stairs to the main room, where you looked for the remote. There was a button for you to open the time room, which was foolish on Prismo's part. He said it was for if you ever wanted to invite any friends over (bullshit), but you knew what else you could use it for.

You had finally overturned the remote to the right side after turning it in nervousness, and you were just about to press the button when the remote was yanked out of your grasp.

"(Name), no. I told you the button was only if you wanted to invite friends over! Now I see how that could have backfired on me," Prismo said sternly, patting your head as best he could in the process. He gave you your "perfect sandwich" and sat you down to watch TV with him.

"I don't know if you like mayonnaise, but I put it in there anyway, because every perfect sandwich had mayonnaise in it," Prismo smiled as he looked at you. You were still salty about not being able to leave. But you were already too tired to try another attempt. So for now, you were going to eat your sandwich, and hope for the best in the future.

"Don't give me that face. Come on, let's watch some TV."

You sighed as you reclined on the wall and bit down on your sandwich. Your face immediately, unintentionally, lit up.

"This is actually really, really good."
