A/N: I am SO pissed off right now.

Just a disclaimer. I do not watch anime, I do not like anime, and I don't watch Studio Ghibli. I do not mean any offense towards those who like it and the medium of anime.

With that being said, I wish I could be the sole judge for the Oscars so I could change everything.

THE BOY WITH THE HERON??? REALLY??? WHAT THE FUCK!!!!

Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO deserved to win. Even if not Spiderverse, at least something else good, like Elemental!

No, I have not watched Nimona, and no, I don't think I'm going to watch it any time soon. It just doesn't seem appealing to me.

BUT STILL!!!!

I would've much rather had the disappointment from Nimona winning than the anger that I feel right now. I'm so upset.

I feel like this might be some kind of win for animation, but is it really? Is Studio Ghibli western animation? Because I don't think so, but if it is, then I didn't know, and I apologize.

But I feel like this is still not a win. That is not western animation. The Oscars STIL CHOOSES TO TREAT WESTERN ANIMATION AS JUST. FOR. KIDS. I'm fucking sick of it.

Anyways, I just wanted to vent here and I needed someone to tell. Thank you for listening to my rant, and have a good rest of your day.

Edit: BTW, guys, The Boy With the Heron won Best Animated Film, not Best Picture. That was a live-action competition, and Oppenheimer won.
