I just didn't want to leave anyone out of the special since it's so important, but if you'd rather skip ahead, I'd understand. Either way, this is about Hilda, it's a holiday special, this is season 3 them specifically, AND the reader is gender-neutral so no one gets left out. Also, you can interpret this however you want! Platonic, romantic (IF YOU'RE OF AGE), it's all okay! Enjoy! 😊

You sighed in happiness as you took your hot cocoa in your hands and sipped it. You were snuggled up in quite a cozy blanket, courtesy of Tontu. You, Hilda, Frida, and David were hanging out at Hilda's house, where you always hung out. It was snowing outside, and you could tell that Hilda was practically going to EXPLODE if she didn't go outside immediately.

"But it's rather cold out there, Hilda," her friend Alfur warned. "I'm afraid we might be caved in by next morning!"

"Don't be silly, Alfur. There's not that much snow," you countered.

"Yeah. (Name)'s right! It's not that snowy. I'd definitely go out for at least just a little while. And you all would come too, right, guys?" Hilda said, directing that question at you, Frida, and David.

"If it's okay with you, I'd rather stay inside and read with my hot chocolate," Frida replied, sending an apologetic smile Hilda's way.

"Yeah, I agree with Frida. I'd rather just stay inside and watch television," David agreed.

Hilda deadpanned at this, dissapointed that her friends wouldn't join her for some holiday fun.

"Wait! What about (Name)? Surely they must be willing to join me, right?" Hilda pleaded, holding on to her wants with desperation.

"Sorry Hildy. I kinda don't want to go outside either. My hot cocoa would get cold. This cocoa is so good- who made this cocoa?" You told her, genuinely delighted by the taste and feeling of your hot chocolate. Ah, the holidays were just so relaxing.

"What?! Come on. Ugh, I'll just have to go myself," Hilda reasoned. "Come on, Twig."

Just as the eccentric blue-haired girl was about to leave, her mother came and stopped her in her tracks.

"Oh no, you don't, Missy. Majority rules. You're staying inside. I don't want you to get trapped outside of the house! Worst case scenario, I mean. You know how your luck can be," Johanna protested.

Hilda groaned in annoyance and defeat and joined your side, sitting really close to you and hugging your blanket close to her, making her have to huddle with you for warmth.

"Hey! Who said you could take my blanket, Miss Adventurer?" You teased, looking at her with a jokingly annoyed expression.

"I mean, it's my house, so my blankets," Hilda argued, making a valid point.

"That...is a good point. Cruddlesticks," you "cursed."

"Have you been picking that up from David?" Frida asked in the background with a smile on her face, David leaning over to listen with a bright pink hue dusting his cheeks.

"I mean, I guess I have. It's pretty catchy, I have to say," you laughed, looking at David. He smiled and laughed along with you.

"Glad it could catch on," he joked.

After your little moment of fun, all of you simultaneously decided to sit together, all in one spot. Hilda, Frida, and David were all at your side, Blankets joined together and mugs at the ready, as Alfur sat on Johanna's shoulder, and she sat next to Hilda. Twig curled up in the space between you and Hilda, and Tontu was watching the television from somewhere in between the couch. A Charlie Brown Christmas was playing on the television.

"I never want to leave," you proclaimed.

"Agreed," the others chimed.

And so you sat there, enjoying your time together in the blissful snowy night.
