We are returning home and as usual he is driving. I have my licence but driving is not for me. I got easily distracted.
'Mature my ass! He is just overdramatic...
"My heart belongs to someone else"... what a joke!' I laughed bitterly to suppress my anger.
'At least he is honest. If he loves somebody else then he did the right thing by not giving that girl further hope. He even offered his help to find a more suitable person for her. Don't you think he is thoughtful too?'
'Wow! Are you that impressed by him? It's like you know him inside out!' I am getting irritated now.
'No, I don't know him at all but looks like you don't know him too.'
'He is cruel, cunning and manipulative.'
'Really? And how do you know all these?'
'Mint told me everything. I don't need to know anything else.'
'Huh! So you don't like him because of Mint? But don't you think it's one-sided story? It's Mint's version of New. If you really want to know him you should pay attention to him without any prejudice. Only then you'll get to know the real him.'
'Who wants to know him! I am not stupid enough to befriend him. I already have many friends.'
'Oh. Then problem solved.' Thada chuckled.
'Yes. Today I saw him accidentally. It's not like we will meet in regular basis.' I am going to avoid him from now on.

'Why are you in a bad mood these days?' June asked when we were exchanging notes at his house.
'What bad mood? I am completely fine.' I said begrudgingly.
'Really? You got into two unnecessary fights and even Mint is upset with you.'
'Those boys were getting on my nerves for a long time. I just taught them a lesson.'
'They are not the issue here. I am observing you for quite some time. It's like you are trying to grab someone's attention. And it's not Mint I'm sure.'
'What rubbish!'
'I am your friend Tay. You can share anything with me.' June was looking at me with concern.
'There's nothing to share.' I really don't know why I am acting so weird. It's like something is amiss. My life is dull.
'Fine. If you don't want to tell then it's okay I guess. Just remember I am here for you.' June was sincerely expressing his care.
'Thanks.' I mumbled.
'Enough study for now. Let's go to the new cafe near the mall. I heard about their special donuts. Let's try it today.'
'Okay. Then asked Ton and see if he is free or not.'
'Well he is still sad about that girl Praiyan's rejection. I don't think he'll come. We didn't talk over a week. I was busy with study and really didn't want to pester him.'
'Huh! Here he is with a broken heart and there's someone indifferent to love.' I recalled that day New rejected Praiyan and blurted out.
'What?' June was confused.
'Praiyan is in love with someone else.' And I told June about everything.
'Oh God! She is in love with New! That's why she rejected Ton repeatedly!'
