We exited from the villa without any complications. New said that all the Khemwaens are late risers and those maids and securities.....well I didn't see anybody near the back building. I think that part is totally abandoned. Either they neglect New or they fear him. I think it's the latter. Because when New went to bring the car from the garage, I saw from my hiding place someone politely urging him to take a driver driven one. But New just gave him a hard stare and he backed out without telling anything else.
New doesn't have a scary personality like P Waii or elegance like Mr Khemwaen but he is a boy who is way ahead of his time. He is only 19 but already has a business sense that can put to shame any renowned businessman. I have seen his files. He has so many vital informations about present ups and downs of shares, bonds of various companies that he can easily manipulate the economy. His network is well established and he is well versed in politics.
And the funny thing is he started his education at the age of 13. Only six years of education made him this much intelligent..... it's really miraculous.
I started to fall for him more and more. I mean he is smart, intelligent, funny, caring , gentle.....a little bit stupid when it comes to love, not ready to follow the social norms...... doesn't bother with right or wrong.....but still...I am madly in love with this boy.
I want to capture his heart. I know he is a passionate person. When he is gonna love me, he will love me with all of his heart. I will wait for that day.
'We are here. Now go home and complete your sleep.' New parked the car and tapped on my shoulder.
'I am just going to change my clothes and then I'll go to the uni. I have to submit my assignment today.'
'Then, should I wait for you? Do you need a ride?'
Really!! Okay!!
'But your morning class?'
'Just hurry up and meet me in 15mnts. Can you do that?'
'I'll be out in 10.' I quickly got out and ran towards the house. But then I stopped and ran back to him.
'What's wrong?'
'I would invite you inside but my parents think I was at June's last night.'
'Go, go don't waste time. I'll come and meet them some other time.'
'So you wasn't serious when promised P Waii that you won't stay in touch with us?' I smiled.
'I say all kinds of craps to him, just to make sure he won't get worried. It's nothing.' He waved his hand dismissively.
See? No ethics. Do not like to follow social norms.
'Okay then. Wait for me.' I suppressed my laughter and ran quickly.
'Here you are!' I just entered the house Ma grabbed my hand.
'Ma! I ....I need to submit my assignment today! I am in a hurry.' I tried to dodge.
'You ungrateful brat! Last night you vanished from your own birthday party! Now you're here lecturing me!'
'Sorry sorry! I....' New is waiting for me Ma! Let me go please!
'Mint was worried sick! Why did you switched off your phone? You should have called her.'
Ah! Mint....
'Is she still here? I mean....how is she now?' I tactfully changed my query.
'She was just over exhausted. She left 5mnts ago.'
