He was listening to me attentively and after I finished he nodded quietly. I was about to say something else when he leaned over and a soft kiss landed on my cheek. I was so surprised that my jaw dropped and looking at my expression his face became bright red. He hastily got up and said,
'I think we should go inside. I am a bit hungry.'
Oh! I snapped out of my bewildered state and looked at his shy face. The beautiful white birds, stunning purple and pink sky, the swaying tree, the shallow blue water, and the loud gray ducks all disappeared from my view and I only focused on the boy in front of me. The scenery was as striking as paradise and it was impossible to feel anything but tranquility in a place that covered itself in pure beauty but my heart was racing erratically. What nature! What Paradise! I am ready to leave everything behind just to hold this boy in my arms.
'Tay?'
'Let's go inside. I'll cook dinner for you.' I don't know if I can control my desire to have him then and there if I stay here long. But right now he is hungry.
'You can cook?'
'Mn.' I took some simple recipes from our cook so that I can make some dishes for Hin. Our cook was so frightened that almost fainted.

I took his hand and we started to walk towards the house which was situated on a wooden platform in the middle of the lake.
As I gazed out in front of me, I noticed all the dainty houses that were lined up across the lake. Those houses were painted in white, which brought out all of the colors around them. Years ago people resided in those houses, but Pa bought them too just to secure our privacy. Pa installed a security fence which won't allow anyone to approach this side of the lake.
'Tomorrow I will take you to swim in the lake okay?'
'I don't know how to swim....'
'I'll teach you.'
'Really? Okay...' He was looking so excited that I couldn't help but squeeze his hand.
After having a simple but delicious dinner we sat down on the floting deck and chatted for a bit.
'Do you wanna eat ice-cream?' We didn't have any dessert tonight so I wanted to give him something sweet to munch on.
'Ice cream? We have ice cream?' His eyes lit up.
'I already stocked the fridge so that we could spend our time here without any problem.' I spent the whole morning arranging everything.
'Do you have chocolate icecream?' He sat up straight in excitement.
'Yes.' I am glad that he is expressing himself this way .... unrestrained and super excited.
'Okay....then I will have that one.' He said with satisfaction.
'Let me get it for you.' I happily got up. My baby is opening his heart to me. He is expressing himself more and more.
'Do you have strawberry flavoured?' I stopped after hearing his query.
'Yes.' I was amused by his reaction. He was like a child who, for the first time saw something new.
