~Twenty Three~

Ariana's POV

I tugged my white floral shirt down to meet the top of my jeans and I left the house after saying goodbye to everyone. I began to walk towards the park and wondered what Luke wanted.

Maybe he was going to introduce me to someone that he likes. I walked through the small meadow and smiled at the memories from the small art project that started this whole thing.

I walked closer to the large tree which was now illuminated by fairy lights instead of fire flies. There was a small note stuck to the wooden bench we had sat on before and I picked it up.

'This is the first place that we ever spent time together, best day of my life. Keep walking and you'll find me. -Luke x'

I continued to walk towards the park and eventually reached the black gate. Michael's car was here. I looked down at my feet and noticed that my shoes were surrounded by pink flower petals that were in a trail.

I followed the trail and heard the faint sound of music playing. As I got closer I spotted all four of the boys sitting in a semi circle. Ashton had Luke's acoustic guitar whilst Michael had his acoustic guitar and Calum had another.

Luke however was sitting on a stool holding a bunch of roses knowing that they were my favourite. I gave him a soft smile and he stood up and began to sing softly to Little Things by One Direction.

He took my hand in his and made eye contact whilst he sang to me.

'Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me,
But bear this in mind, it was meant to be,
And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks,
And it all makes sense to me.'

I couldn't stop myself from crying, this whole moment was perfect. The boys playing music and Luke singing to me. He does like me back..

He finished singing and I threw my arms around him and buried my head into his shoulder and let silent tears stream down my cheeks. I can't believe that this is happening.

"Ariana, I'm in love with you. I love everything about you, I never stopped loving you, I just got better at hiding it. Anyway, Ariana will you make me the happiest boy alive by being my girlfriend?"

"Yes! Ofcourse I'll be your girlfriend" he kissed my lips passionately and held me close to him.

"Holy shit" I heard Calum whisper.
