Punk? Luke A.U

~Thirteen~

Ariana's POV

*3 weeks later*

Luke and I had handed in our project a couple of weeks ago and somehow we managed to get a high A which surprised both of us. We celebrated by going to a party together.

Mason was still clueless about me and Luke hanging out together which was a good thing because I was almost certain that he would tear us apart immediately.

"Ariana, we should go. Luke is coming" Mason mumbled.

"He doesn't scare me" I shrugged and opened my locker and waited for my brother to run away like he always does.

Luke stopped beside me and Ashton made a noise to tell us that Mason wasn't around. I smiled up at Luke who smirked back at me and leant against the metal lockers.

"Are we still on for tomorrow babe?" Luke asked.

"I guess since you would be a loner otherwise" I laughed and felt him shove my arm gently.

"You're my best friend. You're not supposed to be mean to me" he pouted causing me to laugh quietly.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry. What time do you want me to come over tomorrow?" I asked and pulled my maths book out of my locker.

"Uh- I don't know. Early?" I chuckled and nodded my head before closing my locker and smiling at him.

"I'll text you later about it. Bye loser" he winked and gave me a quick hug.

I let out a happy sigh before making my way to maths. I can't believe how oblivious Mason and Ellie are about me and Luke.

Its not exactly anything bad though. Luke's just my best friend, I want him to be more but I got stuck in the friendzone with him and I don't think I'll ever escape.

The kiss we shared in the meadow that day made me re-think everything about him. He was perfect. He just acts like a punk and the tattoos and piercings are just something to back up his punk reputation.

Ash, Cal and Mikey all know about Luke's soft side and whenever we hang out with him we only see his soft side. He's only a punk in school. The boys are all the same though. They're all sweetheart's in reality.

"Ariana, do you want to come to the cinema with me and Mason tomorrow?" Ellie asked.

"Uh-no. I'm busy, sorry" I wasn't sure if Ellie knew about me being with Luke but I didn't want Mason to find out.

"Ugh! Fucking hell Ari. Why are you always busy?" I shrugged and walked away, letting out a sigh as I headed to my science class.
