Ariana's POV
~One week later~
Luke hasn't attempted to contact me since last week. I don't know exactly what happened but I know that he's been avoiding me ever since. Did we kiss and he didn't like it or something?
Mason won't leave me alone when we aren't in class and its getting really annoying. I want to be able to be away from my brother sometimes. He's too clingy.
I sighed as I entered my art classroom and spotted Luke sitting in the seat next to Calum. I gave him a small smile but he acted as if he didn't even acknowledge my presence.
"Lu-" He cut me off quickly
"not now" he mumbled and shooed me away.
Well that hurt. I blinked back my tears and made my way to the back of the classroom and sat in my seat. We need to complete a project together yet he won't even speak to me.
Mason had deleted his number from my phone so I couldn't text him whenever I wanted to. I just want to feel wanted.. by someone, not necessarily Luke but I would appreciate it if he did. He just acknowledges me with glares and always cuts me off whenever I try to speak to him.
What did I do wrong?
Calum awkwardly sat down beside me and placed his hand on my knee but quickly removed it when I flinched from the pain of the bruises which I don't remember getting.
"Luke said he doesn't need your help to finish the project. He's chosen the theme beauty and he's almost finished it. He said he will put your name on it and he doesn't want you to speak to him anymore so that you don't get hurt" He mumbled and I felt my heart literally snapping.
"I just want to know what I did wrong! Don't you think I deserve to know?" I asked him and hoped that he would agree.
"Ask your brother" Calum mumbled before moving back to where Luke was sitting with his head pressed to the desk.
