I tried removing the bandages from my forehead, but they were tangled somewhere and my arms were hurting, real bad. I was really in pain from both my arm and the aching pain of my head...I went out the room to Mrs maya to help me...

"Ma, would you mind untying this for me" I pleaded.
"I got a bad sight boy, I'm sorry, but I can't do it." She said, which sounds more of an apology.
"Ok, I'll just leave it". I said poised to leave.
"Come here! Ade boy! Eva! Eva!" she called out.
"Yes mom, I'm coming!" Eva screamed, coming out of her room with an eye catching phone that caught my attention.
"Would you mind getting this bandage off his head?" Mrs Maya asked.
"Yeah, I'll be back" she said, retiring to her room not before giving me the 'you-again' look.
"Be rest assured she'd do it, ok!" Mrs Maya said leaving for the kitchen

Maybe!

"Ok!" I said in a tensed and nervous tone.
"Oh, where's mom?" Eva asked with a scissors in her hand.
"Please, be careful!" I said, maybe with a tone dripping with sarcasm and fear.
"Sir, please, put your attitude in that mini pocket of yours and you better go mute"  she commanded.

I quietly sat on the wooden chair, as she cuts off the bandages from my forehead and arms.

"Ouch! Please be careful, you necessarily do not have to take revenge!" I cried.
"Sorry! You're still a baby, though you got those muscles" she sneered.

I just didn't know what to say, so I had to just go mute. Then this boring silence laid upon the both us, for at least 5 minutes.

"I'm done!"she said.
"Phew..... thanks!"

I stood up heading to my room, my injury were sore and hurting badly. I limped to my room, sat on the chair opposite the mirror. but to be honest, my handsome face was gradually turning ugly. Ohhh, how I needed those wounds to disappear, so as to recover my handsome cute face.

"Ade boy, Ade Boy!" Mrs Maya called out.
"Ma, I'm coming" I ran outta the room limping.
"Prepare, we're going for shopping" she said obviously, staring at me.
"Ok!" I said limp-running upstairs slamming the door behind me.

I was going shopping for the first time in my life who else is excited? You might not be because Its one of your weekly or daily routines. but this is my first time..... I've never visited one.... but I'd pass by one in Lagos, but  never went in. I always felt like it was for the rich men. But here I am. I was going shopping first time in my life. Though I had a clue of what a mall is like. I likely knew how a mall, was cause my friends would always tell me how the shopping mall in Lagos was. I quietly wore my undies and pants (actually one of my favorite was baggy pants) and my blue stripped shirts and my sandals. Had some perfumes on, combed my hair and was set to go.

"Ade boy! Ade boy!" Eva mimicked.
"Mommy, I'm coming!" I sarcastically replied.

I came down the stairs looking as handsome as.......

Sorry! Don't know who to compare myself with... but was actually handsome!

"Ohhh boy, you're so cute and blessed" Mrs Maya praised.
"Thanks ma!"

Eva just stared at me fumbling with her hair and just gave me a thumbs up and then sticking the  lollipop to her mouth.
We then went out of the house to the famous shopping mall in Bolgatanga.
We shopped for hours, she bought me new trending and classy clothes, shoes, slippers, flip-flops, roll-ons, perfumes and toothbrushes with some other items.
By 5pm we were back home, Mrs Maya got my wounds dressed in a clinic department in the mall.

"Momma, where were you?" A little boy in his 7th year asked.
"Ohhh, boy, how are you?" Mrs Maya asked stroking his cheeks.

I assumed that to be her last son.
A glance at the boy reminded me of Titi and Emeka. How, I really missed Titi and her little tantrums. I was getting E-mo-tion-al.

"Momma, who's that boy?" he asked pointing to me.
"He's your new big brother!" She said, stressing the word "big brother".
"What's your name?"he asked.
"I'm Adejoke, but you can call me Ade or bro Ade" I smiled patting him on the shoulder.
"My name is Abam!" He said smiling, giving me a long gaze.
"So Abam, we are friends, right?" I asked just to keep the conversation going.
"Yeah" he said running to his mom.
"Momma, I'm hungry!" he said.
"Come I'll help you carry the shopping bags to your room" Eva said to me, her voice laced with concern.
"Ohhh, thanks!"

One morning, I woke up by 7:30am due to the irritating sound of the weird mini clock on my nightstand, I went downstairs on a new grey and green animated pyjamas for breakfast.

"Good morning everyone!" I said settling down on one of the dining chairs.
"Morning boy!" Mrs Maya replied.

I sat down waiting for Eva to present the food for us to eat.

"Morning bro Ade" Abam said smiling.
"Morning, how was your night?" I asked.
"Good!" He replied.

We went silent waiting for our breakfast, after minutes the food was served. I took my slice of bread munching on the bread and tomatoes sauce gluttonously. I noticed Abam was staring at me.
Can't he face his food? He just wanna see how I munch my food! Ohhh, goodness sake he's still staring. We had an eye contact, he smiled and I smiled back.

"Ma, I'd like to ask you a question!" I said finally breaking the silence.
"Oh boy, can't you wait till your done eating!" Mrs Maya said in between munching.
"I'm sorry!" I apologized.

I really hate that look Abam was giving me, he just made lose my appetite.

"Oloruburuku!" I cursed, which means stupid one.

That's one thing, I loved about a country having its own languages. you could insult one without his knowledge.

"I Iove that name!" Abam complimented.
"Yeah, me too" I mocked, laughing mischievously.
