Soon it begun raining outside, putting a halt to the plans that I made for today. I was upset that the sky decided now was a good time to take a piss, however Sama seemed intrigued by the rain.

She was looking out the window, red pupils following the droplets outside of the window. I found it amusing that she was taken away by something that I felt like it was normal to see all the time.

But I didn't want to ruin it for her, so I just let her be in her own world, watching the rain fall from the skies. I smile at Sama, who seemed to be thinking about something.

I get up from my spot on the bed, thinking that making breakfast would be nice, seeing as I was hungry for now.

"Hey Sama, I'll be downstairs making food to eat, you wanna join me?"

She looks away from the window, turning to me. "Sure, I'd love to join you." Her red lips smile, and she walks over to me, putting a hand out.

I take it, which makes her smile even wider. I feel myself blushing as we walk together downstairs, hands intertwined with each other.

'I really wish that I knew what this feeling is. But I don't think that it's a bad one...'

(Sama's POV)

I watch as Skyler gets ingredients out for making breakfast. Even though I don't really need to eat, she was making some for me still, which was nice of her.

I sit down at the table, just humming my tune and playing with my hands. I was what humans called 'being bored' right now, but I try to ignore it.

Soon Skyelle sets two plates down, and she starts eating, occasionally looking at me. I try some too. And she looks happy that I was eating her food, to which I smiled in return.

"Soooo, I was wondering, since it's still raining outside, that we can find some board games to play. I saw some in the cabinet in the living room, and wanted to give it a try. Wanna play some?"

I nod, "Sure, that doesn't sound too bad. Besides, at least you can always manage to come up with a new plan, right?"

She smiles. "Yeah, I was always a smart kid growing up, but... Not smart when it came to trusting people..."

My songbird smiles sadly, sighing out. I feel the distress coming off of her body. I put a hand on hers reassuringly, making her look at me in surprise.

"What? I'm just trying to make you feel better..." She shakes her head.

"It's not that..." She stops and looks away, embarrassed to keep talking. But I knew something about her reaction, so I decided to try something.

I pick her up, making her squeal out of shock at my action. I face her, with her putting her head in my neck. I feel ticklish when I feel cold air on me.

I use my clawed hand to lift her chin up, and she looks... Distracted by my face. Our eyes connect again, and she slowly comes closer to my face, until...

I set her down on her chair, and the human looks conflicted after that. She puts her head in her hands, trying her best to cover her red face.

"Sorry, I'm not sure what I was doing there. Apologies Sama for doing that..." She sounds small when saying that.

I smile again. "Don't worry about it, I'm not uncomfortable by that. Also, how about you rest while I clean the plates off? You might need some dear."

She nods, quickly getting up to go into the living room, leaving me alone to my thoughts.

'Hmm, does she really feel that way for me? I mean, I've never experienced much aside from friendship with someone before, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad.'

I sigh out, looking once more behind me, then face forward again. 'What is this unknown feeling that I am experiencing from earlier?'

I finish up cleaning off the dishes, deciding to go into the living room now to meet the human waiting for me in there.

I finally found some good games to play, and I find a copy of my favorite one, Candy Land, excited to set it up. I see Sama enter the room. I wave a hello to her, and she returns it with a smile.

Sama sits by me on the floor, the table going up to her waist. I set up the correct amount of pieces, handing out the players.

"Here, pick a person to play." She chooses the red gingerbread man, and I pick the blue one. I read out the rules, hoping that it wasn't too confusing.

"So, now that's done, you wanna go first?"

She looks up from the board. "Sure." Soon we start the game, me going again. I land near on the purple space. I decide to make conversation with her.

"So... What's your favorite things to do Sama? Like a hobby."

She hums and moves her player, and responds, "I like relaxing under a tree, humming obviously, and I drink tea..."

I nod, moving again. "I've heard of tea, but never tried it. I mean, my mom loved it, but my dad was always the coffee type, but I'm iffy on what I drink, hot beverage wise."

Sama looks down at the board, soon reaching near the end. I get really competitive during these kinds of games, but I tried to not be for once.

Especially when my roommate is just learning how to play well, but not how well I do, however I ended up losing to the witch, who looked surprised to have won the game.

I smile, happy for her. "Hey, you won! And not bad for your first board game. Do you want to do another one now?"

Sama shakes her head. "No thank you, but thanks for teaching me how to play. It was fun to playing a game with you, but is there anything else to do?"

I look out the window, seeing the rain finally gone.

"Well, it looks like it stopped raining outside, wanna go exploring again?" I look over at her, seeing her look in my direction as well, making me blush.

"What? Why are you looking at me for?" The smile she gave me nearly ended me.

"Well, it's not my fault that you're enticing to look at darling..." Damn it! She knew that she was teasing me and getting away it too, but maybe what I was feeling was more than companion feelings for her.

I gasp internally. 'Am I... Am I really falling for Sama? And does she possibly feel the same for me? It might explain everything. The teasing, to flirting occasionally with me, and we nearly kissed earlier too!'

But little did I know is that Sama was indeed in love with me too, and we didn't know it yet...
