Chapter 25: Just Friends Hanging Out

"-Riding coasters to dream your last. Don't you hang up again baby. I just can't be alone tonight..."

The next day I made plans for us three to hang out. Sama clearly needed a distraction from her internal thoughts, and me being the great girlfriend I was, I would find something for us to do. 

Of course I couldn't leave my friend out, so I decided today we should go to an amusement park. Playing games, eating food and even riding rides was a great way to spend our day. 

And maybe just hang out with each other?

Sama was holding my hand as the three of us walk around the park. People were everywhere, kids screaming and chasing each other around. 

At some point we stop in a line for a rollercoaster that looked epic. Sama obviously was unsure about it, and I can see her visibly gulp at the screaming people going up high on the track. 

Yasu nudges me. "This one looks cool. Uhm, are you good Sama? You look..." His eyes make me look at her, and I see that she looks up, wide eyed and frozen. 

'She probably has a fear of heights. I hope she'll be fine...' 

Eventually we get seated on the coaster, and she takes my hand with hers, grasping tightly onto mine. "Hey, are you okay Sama? You know you don't have to go." 

She shakes her head. "No, I am just fine. Don't worry about me dear." I nod, strapping my seatbelt on.

Someone starts the ride, and we lurch back as soon as our bar comes down. With Sama on my left, and Yasu on my right side, we take off, screams of joy coming out of our mouths.

Finally our carts stop back at the exit, and with wobbly legs I get up, and I end up falling, being caught by a smirking Sama. Her red lips looked so tantalizing.

"Hey, you good?" I nod, red cheeks from embarrassment as my girlfriend laughs at my flushed face. Soon we hear Yasu calling us over. She then asks him to stay with me for a second, making me confused.

Yasu was busy on his phone as I ask. "Hey, where did Sama go to?" He hums an answer, "I dunno, she just asked me to stay with you for a bit..." 

I feel someone hugging me from behind. I look up to see her beautiful red eyes staring back. "Hey, where'd you go off to?" She smiles, "I just went somewhere and got you this-" 

She hands me a beautiful bracelet that was pink and black. "Oh my gosh, I love it dear!" I step on my tip toes to kiss her cheek. 

She picks me up, letting me wrap my arms around her neck, and we kiss deeply. Splitting apart, I call over a red faced Yasu, and he comes back, phone put away. "We ready to go now?" 

I nod, feeling Kintoru kiss my head. "Let's go play some games now..."  

We end up going to different games, and Sama successfully cheats, by using her powers to win me a giant bear that I liked. 

Obviously the worker was surprised that she won, but her shocked face was hilarious enough. We walk away, laughing at it. 

We also end up getting food, and I ate my cotten candy, sharing it with my girlfriend, and Yasu got churros, and we were walking around, talking and trying to find more things to do. 

There was a walk-in maze, and there were also jumpscares in there. Sama watches as we both scream our heads off from one jumpscare we got. 

However I knew that she was most likely used to chasing people around in her own maze. 

Soon I see a butterfly garden, excitedly dragging her hand, leading us towards it. When we enter it, the butterflies immediately go over to her. 

She laughs light heartedly as one lands on her finger. I smile as the witch lets another one land on her hand. It was like every butterfly in there seemed to like her right away. 

They surround Sama, and Yasu looks inside the garden, with him saying, "I'm... not even surprised." I laugh at that comment. I guess it was really that common to happen.

Waiting to use the photo booths, we finally get our turn and get inside of it. Sama places me in her lap. We do silly poses, me giggling at the pictures. 

Picking out our photo frames, I take the three strips of images, handing them out to the other two. Walking around the park again, the sky gets darker.

Soon it was sunset, and we find a cart on the ferris wheel, sitting down, me and Sama by each other, my friend across from us. 

Going up slowly, I watch the sun setting with wonder in my eyes. Sama chuckles, catching my attention. She turns to my face, that was currently staring right at her, and takes my hands in hers.

"Oh Butterfly... You made my day by taking us here. I love you darling~" We kiss, and I place my hand on her lap.

We split, and I blink through my dazed eyes. Her beautiful red eyes glow as we disconnect. She hugs me close as we exit. 

During walking, my girlfriend picks me up again, snuggling me and planting a kiss on my mouth as she does.

I sleepily hold her neck as she carries me to the exit, Yasu texting on his phone. Probably sending photos to his parents. 

Kintoru sits me in the driver seat, "Here love. Just be careful driving, okay?" Nodding, I buckle my seatbelt in. Turning the AC on, I let the cold air blow on my face. 

I drop Yasu off at his house, and he waves and says his goodbye. "Bye guys, thanks for inviting me." I smile. "No prob! Have fun telling your parents about today."

He closes the door, leaving me and my girlfriend alone. 

She turns to me, and smiles mischievously as she manages to get away with her kissing my lips quickly. Her laugh fills my ears, and I turn red shortly afterwards.

Her smirk was obvious. "You are far too easy to fluster my darling butterfly~"
