Chapter 39: Reeling in Friendly Fire

The four have a sleepover. Time to reel in friendly fire. 

Omukade returns.

"Hi there Butterfly." I look up from laying on the couch. My ferret was sleeping near me. "Yes my queen?" I joke. Her red eyes widen for a second, but then she says, "Do you have any plans today?"

I reply. "No, not really. I'm just scared of leaving home right now." Sama sits by me, bringing me into her lap. Her claws were running through my hair.

"Oh darling, I wasn't going to leave you alone. I made a mistake last time I did. But I was asking if you were busy." I breathe out. "Why? Did you have something planned for us today?"

I smile as she kisses my head. "Well, if they wanted to, all four of us can spend a day together if that's fine?" I hug the witch known as my lover. "Yes. I would love that."

She kisses me again, and gets up to grab my phone. As soon as Sama came back I went up to her, asking silently for a hug. She hugs me as I take it from her.

I laugh when I see the last message from my friend. "What is it?" I show her the message. She displays fake hurt on her face. "I'm not that terrible, am I dear?" Smiling at her antics. "No, you're wonderful."

Red eyes brightening at my answer, she speaks. "Well, I'm glad." Texting him, she then asks me, "What is that device? I'm curious." I reply as I type, "A phone. They're fun."

She hums. "If you want, I can get you one too. So we can text each other whenever." Sama hugs me, and I let out an oof. "Really? You're too kind."

Planting a kiss on her cheek, I sit down again. "Well, I'm happy to please you." Toru smirks. "Well- not like that!" I look discreetly at the mark under her neckline. Wellll. It was a true delight to see her as a mess under my control.

Sama hugs me from behind as I sit down. My friend's cousin was also there, both of them sending daggers to each other. I select a movie to watch for tonight, and get up.

"Kay, I'm changing. Be nice to each other you two." Yasu already was chill with Sama. It was Juno who still despised her. However feeling dangerous, I throw my pink pillow at her. She drags it off her face.

"You little-!" I laugh. "I don't know what you're-"

And then a pillow hits me. "Naw, I'm good now." I fall onto my back, rendered useless. No. She didn't- Meanwhile Yasu hits Sama with his pillow. "Hah! Take that!" She growls while using hers as a shield.

"What happened to friendly fire?!" I start laughing as they beat each other with their respective pillows. Then when he's not looking, he gets slammed in the face with her weapon.

"Hey!" She smirks. "Winner." Juno then attacks from behind. "That's for hitting my cousin!" Kintoru teleports away. "Hey! That's cheating!" "Not cheating. Just an advantage."

I use my fluffy pillow on her. "Haha! Revenge!" Sama catches me as I fall. Out of breath now, "Okay. That was epic." They laugh too. "Yeah, that was fun." Juno then helps me up. "Sorry. For the pillow."

I shrug. "It's no problem. I had fun." She smiles. "I can't help but agree." Dusting myself off, "I'm gonna go change now. Be back soon."

I wave as I walk away to go get changed. I hear talking after I left, hoping that the two ladies will get along for tonight.

"Kintoru." I glare from my seat. Butterfly was getting petted by my hand. "What now?" She sighs, sitting by me. I scooch away some. "I'm sorry for holding my grudge against you."

I raise an eyebrow. "My cousin had told me what happened. How much you cared for her. Heck, you even revived her! Thank you. He wouldn't stop crying about his friend being injured."

"No I didn't!" He remarks. Cracking a small smile. "If you didn't do anything, she'd be gone right now." My exterior breaks. "Okay, I've gotten attached to a human, I get it. But she's the only one that cared about me."

I breathe out. "I just can't help my love. She's all I have left now..." I get hugged by her. "It's okay love. I'm right here." I fall into her embrace. I didn't deserve her. This woman that broke my walls down.

"Hmm, hmm, hmm." I sigh, smiling. "You remembered my hum?" Skyelle's smile brightens my eyes. "Yeah. It helps me sometimes."

Then we get interrupted. "Sorry to interrupt you two, but I'm wanting to say something to Kintoru. I trust you." Her hand is held out. My girlfriend nods, smiling still.

I take it. "Thank you. I know what I did before was wrong, but I want to change myself. For everyone." Butterfly hugs me again, an arm keeping me close. "I'm proud of you."

I sniffle. She then says, "Well, now that that's done. Who wants to watch a movie?" Putting it into the television, she sits by me again.

The cousins were sharing snacks, while me and my partner snuggle together. "Tired dear?" She shakes her head. "Naw, I'm just happy right now."

My red lips smile. "I'm glad."

I wake in a field. Taking everything around me in, I then hear, "Beautiful, isn't it?" Omukade was back. "Wha- what do you want now? Hurt me again?" Her red hands take mine in them. She was more humanoid.

"No, I wanted to tell you something here. I've taken a more human look as not to scare you." At least she's considering me.

"What is it?" I see my Sama in her eyes. Her blood red lips move as she speaks. "I'm sorry for breaking your heart. I love you in the current day so much. That it makes my hearts beat in anticipation of seeing you there and fine."

She kisses me, our lips colliding. We fall back into the grass, and her tongue enters my mouth. I moan when she bites my lip.  Foreheads together, "I love you so much. My butterfly."

My blue eyes reflect in the sunlight. Her red eyes take me in as she smiles at me lovingly. Light pricks the corners of my vision. "Wha-?" 

Omukade brushes my hair behind my ear. "I'll see you awake love." I whisper back before opening my eyes, "I love you..."

"What happened?" Sama shushes my panicked heart. "Don't worry. You fell asleep during the movie. The others went to bed a while ago." I catch them in sleeping bags on the ground.

"Oh." She then says, "You were talking in your sleep. Was it a bad dream again love?" I shake my head. Smiling some as I snuggle into her dress, breathing in her comforting scent. 

Whispering to her,"Nope. It wasn't anything."

But it was. It meant so much more to me now.
