INTRODUCE

Although we all made it back safely, our mother was pissed. She didn't want us taking risks, but we weren't going to let this be her problem alone.

"I know you four are adults and very powerful. But I want you to also be more prepared," Nathan spoke.

"I don't want them going there again."

"Mommy, we know you are worried, which is more reason for us to always be ready for whatever comes our way. We would never want to bring you grief. We just need you to not only see us as your children but also warriors who will kill anyone who threatens your well-being."

Her eyes began to water as she touched his cheek.

We all smiled at her reference to us. Her name may have changed, but Imani James still controlled her heart.

"We know, Mommy." Amadi kneeled next to Ares.

"Will you trust the men that you have raised?"

Ares wiped her tears.

"Yes, I will, and I am very proud of you all."

One by one, we all comforted our mother, and I felt she was now at ease.

After we cleaned ourselves up and had a meal, we met in the great room to discuss the prior mission. We did research on the beast from underground and were given information on the witch coven.

The witch that possessed Camille was from the Demented Forest and her name is Madam Celeste. Her history with Ecstasia goes back over forty years.

The witch sisters that Nathan killed were not related to her but still of the same coven.

"I wonder why she didn't show herself after her threats," I thought out loud.

"Maybe she's waiting for the queen to show up."

"That could be true, but she would be better off possessing someone like before or coming here herself," Ethan said.

We felt the usual energy when King Hasani was around. Amadi stood to greet his father. Then, both took their seats.

"I was told you all went into the Demented Forest. Did you run into Celeste?"

"No, she didn't show.."

Hasani sighed. "She is waiting for your mother to come on her own, but that's not happening."

"Should we wait her out?" Ethan asked.

"That would be the best case scenario. There's no way I'm letting Euphoria into that place...alone or not. We're not risking her safety."

We all agreed and got up from the table. But before we could leave, King Hasani spoke to Amadi.

"When are you going to introduce me to Judy?"
