The four brothers sat in the study room pinning points on a large map. After talks with Palesa, Amadi was able to mentally show what the house in the mountains looked like with his brothers.
With a few phone calls and research, Ethan got the exact location.
Estelle apparently didn't keep up with certain sides of the Crestmont family, so her information was limited.
"Duvan Crestmont is the alpha in that region. Is there a border that separates the neighboring land?"
"Yes, Lake Shrine is the separation between their land and the native people on the other side."
Gabriel sipped his drink. "I have a drone that could scope out the area without us stepping foot there."
"That's a good idea. But if there is hostility there, I want to be present to experience it," Ethan said.
Ares smirked. "Big bro is always out for blood."
Amadi sat forward, rubbing his temples. Palesa's warning of a demonic beast was becoming more believable by the day.
Of course, Ares is the first to feel his energy.
"Do you see something, lil bro?"
"I've been getting a lot of weird visions of riots and spiked bird-like claws. Something bigger is coming guys...I'm not getting a good feeling about this."
"Have you heard from Palesa?"
Amadi shook his head.
"When do we pay our opps a visit?" Gabriel asked.
They all looked at each other in silence. Grandpa Oliver walked in with a serious look on his face. Two guards stood outside the door.
"Sorry to interrupt, but there's a visitor."
"Who, Grandpop?" Ethan asked.
"He said he's Estelle's brother."
Ares and Gabriel looked surprised. "Uncle Gavin?"
"I assume...yes."
All four got up and followed Oliver to the great room. Looking the same as he did years ago was Gavin Crestmont.
"Nephews, it's been a while."
Ares and Gabriel greeted him with hugs while Ethan and Amadi shook his hand.
"I wish my visit was just to catch up, but there's some foul things happening in our family that disgust me. May I share?"
"Sure, Uncle."
They all took their seats while Oliver and the guards kept watch. It was a surprise to see Gavin, so they knew it had to be something crucial.
"The more I try to keep the Crestmont name held in high regard, another family member disgraces it."
"What happened?"
"Your grandmother..."
"What did she do?"
"Ha, what hasn't she done? She's the one that's been putting a battery in your cousin's back about this whole taking power back and conquering new territory."
The brothers looked at each other.
"I just talked to Grandma a few days ago." Ares sat back.
"Yeah, she loves her grandsons, but you two aren't interested in following her twisted need for power. She knows you two won't go against the people she wants to see taken down."
"What people?" Gabriel asked.
"Your mother and brother, Ethan."
The twins said unison. "What?"
"Oh yeah. She sees them as above her in wealth and status but also blames Euphoria for her sons' deaths...so that jealousy and hate festers inside of her till this day."
Gavin stirred his coffee, then continued.
"And the fact that her dead sons' children want nothing to do with werewolf traditions...her heart is crushed."
"But our fathers didn't even follow werewolf traditions."
"They did in the beginning and every life cycle they lived until they met Palesa. In Estelle's eyes, she ruined everything, as did your mother."
"Why would she warn them about something she's involved in?" Amadi asked.
"To separate herself. And in some weird way...she doesn't want this person to succeed. She wants Gabriel and Ares to fight for their position as alpha of the Crestmont family."
"Which cousin's ass do I have to kick?" Ethan sat forward.
"There's two of them, young man."
Gavin's eyebrows furrowed as he stared out in space.
"Duvan and his twin brother, Cristian."

I got word that Gavin Crestmont was here in Ecstasia and took the first flight back to my queendom.
His visit couldn't have been to bring cheer, so I was expecting the worst. Now my sons have already left to go to Estelle's for a surprise visit.
My first plan was to let them handle the Crestmont situation while I kept things in order here in Ecstasia. But the thought of them going on their territory didn't sit well with me.
Estelle would always back Yannis and Victor unless it was in my favor. Their abuse towards me, she couldn't care less.
My husband, Nathan, refused to let me go without him, and I wasn't going to try to convince him otherwise.
"They have nice hotels in that area."
"I thought this was a one day thing..."
"I mean...we left so abruptly from the resort. I didn't even get a chance to trap you with another baby."
I laughed at Nathan. "Our oldest is in his thirties, honey."
"Our son aging doesn't age us."
I couldn't lie...we did look young for our ages. With my Crescian blood and Nathan's hybrid DNA, we looked to be my son's peers instead of his parents.
"I'm not trying to be pregnant again. But it'll be fun letting you practice."
It didn't take much for Nathan Spear to be on go.
"Not inside the car."
He didn't listen at all as our driver closed the opening between the front and back seats. Touching led to kissing, and before I knew it...
"Oh Nathan!"
As we both came while I rode him in the backseat, the car pulled into an iron gate. We fixed our clothes, smiled, and kissed as the car parked in front of the mansion.
"I'm getting another baby," Nathan smiled and kissed my neck.
I looked out the window, and my heart dropped. Panic set in as I backed away from the window.
"Kitty, what's wrong?"
My hand shook while I pointed out the window.
"Yannis and Victor..."
