55- A mini analysis

Third Person's POV:

While Izumi and Tobi (well mainly Izumi) were trying to capture Isobu, Jiraiya found himself in front of the village gates. The sage's eyes widened as he immediately looked around. He was supposed to be fighting the three tails but he's suddenly in front of the village gates? The hell? Thinking he could be in a genjutsu, he closed his eyes to concentrate on his chakra then let it burst, he opened his eyes to still see he was in front of the village gates.

Jiraiya's POV:

There are no records that three tails have any sort of spatial jutsu that can transport someone and this isn't a genjutsu either. The only ones who can actually trap me in a genjutsu would be Shisui, Itachi and Izumi but none of them were around earlier and they don't have any reason to trap me in one either. Unless it's Madara... it could be. He is considered to be the strongest Uchiha to have ever lived considering the fact that he's the rival of Lord 1st himself. But it's not confirmed if that man in the mask is truly Uchiha Madara.

I looked forward when I sensed 2 familiar chakra signatures coming towards me. "Welcome back, Lord Jiraiya. You came back early, where's the 3 tailed beast?" Kotetsu asked while greeting me. I have no clue how to answer that so... "I lost it." That was the first thing that popped up in my head. Kotetsu blinked. Izumo blinked. I blinked in response. I felt the breeze brush by while a random crow flew by, screaming, "Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!" Kotetsu blinked, Izumo blinked. I blinked. We all felt the breeze brush by again and I started crying internally. Why do I feel like the bird is insulting me?

"Well, I'm sure Lord Jiraiya has an explanation for Lord Hokage. Lord Jiraiya should go now," Izumo said while he dragged Kotetsu back to his post. I walked through the gates and immediately jumped onto a rooftop. I've already confirmed that this isn't a genjutsu because I secretly used a kunai to slash my arm. You either harm yourself or let out a burst of chakra to escape a genjutsu, I've already tried both methods and I'm still here meaning a transportation jutsu was used. More specifically, a space jutsu. It's most likely Hiraishin. As far as I know, only Izumi and Minato knows how to use it. Minato is definitely in the village leaving Izumi as the only one who could've teleported me away. The question is why?

I continued jumping rooftop and rooftop until I landed on the windowsill outside the Hokage office where I could see Minato going through paperwork. Minato must've sensed me because he signaled the anbu guards to leave and slid the window open to let me in. "Jiraiya-sensei, how did it go? Did you capture the three tails?" Minato questioned as he closed the window. I shook my head, "No. Just now, I was fighting it and a few moments later, I found myself in front of the village gates." Minato looked at me questioningly, "Are you implying someone teleported you here, away from the beast?" I nodded, I still couldn't believe it myself either.

"Do you have a Hiraishin mark on your body?" He asked as he sat back down on his seat. "I haven't checked but I don't know. I didn't feel anything touch me." I leaned on the Hokage desk with my arms crossed. "Well you should still check." He's not wrong so I took off my top so he could inspect my body for anything wrong. A few minutes later, there was nothing.

"Could there be another space jutsu capable of long distance transportation apart from the Hiraishin and that technique Madara uses?" Minato asked mainly to himself while I was baffled at the thought but it was possible. "Madara would've killed you on the spot instead of returning you to the village so he's out of the question," He said thoughtfully while mentally thinking of different people capable of space jutsus. "The leader of the Akatsuki, Pein would also kill you on the spot."

"This leaves Izumi as the only one capable of doing something like this but why is the question." I nodded in agreement, "I also came to the same conclusion although, we'll have to wait until she gives us her next report." Right after saying that, I sensed something abnormal under Minato's chair, as if it ripped through space.
