59: Another Dilemma.... Mother-%$#*@!

Izumi's POV:

I instructed Lorffin to land a few miles away from the village and got off with Tobi. I walked towards the village at a leisurely pace with Tobi following me from behind. "Izumi-senpaii! What do you think the 8 tailed beast jinchuriki is like??" He asked enthusiastically while he jogged in front of me with his hands up in the air. "I do not know. But if the info breaker is correct, he seems to be an enthusiastic character." What is he getting to with this?

"Ooooo! Like the Nine tailed beast jinchuriki?!" So that's how it is. "Perhaps," I walked after Tobi who was currently running around in circles in front of me and still somehow didn't go dizzy after running for about 10 minutes straight. Anime logic is absolutely insane. As I walked towards the village, I sensed Zetsu following us from behind with his eyes specifically on my figure. Absolutely irritating. Mew, I need you to go to the Leaf in my place. Once I get the opportunity, I'll swap places with you via teleport. If I get lucky, I could get treated by Tsunade if she has a cure ready which will make things a lot easier. As for the Akatsuki, do whatever you like with them.

'Got it.' I subtly raised my hand in my sleeve as much as I could without letting anyone notice which wasn't really hard since the Akatsuki cloak was quite big on me. It did help that I was short which I'm still salty about. Anyways, I summoned Mew who immediately went invisible and they flew off without disturbing my cloak. The plan was quite simple, I pretend to attack B with Tobi while Mew would go to the village in my stead and pose as Kagune Shirogane. Once I get the opportunity, I'd swap places with Mew. Whether they capture the Akatsuki members or not during that time frame has kind of just turned into a side quest.

I've realized that using Kotoamatsukami might allow me to take control of Kabuto or whoever does the Reanimation jutsu during the war. If Itachi from canon was able to break free from Kabuto's control using Kotoamatsukami, it might be able to control the Reanimator since Kotoamatsukami is a genjutsu that mainly specializes in slowly controlling people in a certain area. But in order to break away from the Reanimation, the Reanimation just needs to get into a powerful genjutsu. But that's not the point, if I manage to pull this off, I'll be able to take control of the reanimations. If it's possible then I could just kill off whatever Akatsuki members I have left alive in the Lyrical Forest. Even if I use them to fight on the Allied Shinobi Forces side, there's no guarantee that they'll be left alone after the war. In fact, it's likely that they'll get executed on the spot or get imprisoned for life because they're shinobis who betrayed their own villages. Who says they won't do it again? I can't do talk no jutsu for the love of my life, that's Naruto's job, not mine!

Having a few members of the Akatsuki on the Allied Shinobis side is nothing compared to having literally an army of powerful shinobis on the Allied Shinobis Forces side. Besides transferring them would be too much of a hassle. In my latest letter to Minato which was about a week ago, I put a genjutsu on it to force him to write down the Reanimation jutsu of how it works and such while relaying him a warning that the village will be attacked. As soon as he finished writing it, he'd send it to me via bird and as soon as the bird was out of sight, the genjutsu would end. Truthfully, I could've asked but I knew Minato wouldn't give it. The topic is really sensitive and something that can't be handled normally. It didn't matter if I was one of his students or one of his most trusted shinobis. He definitely wouldn't give me the info. The reason is quite simple, it's because no one should ever know about it. Period.

I relaxed my shoulders while letting my eyes droop slightly. I didn't really have to worry about Tobi knowing that I'm not as vigilant as usual because he's so wary of me and is aware of my acting skills due to being assigned to a lot of infiltration missions so I'm quite sure he thinks I'm acting tired and just acting vulnerable to attacks. Needless to say that I was correct because Tobi's only visible eye narrowed and without a doubt, he raised his vigilance. Which pretty much means I get a free bodyguard for the rest of the walk to the village since he is sure I would never get caught in any sort of ambushes done by the enemy so he can just take them all down swiftly for me to get rid of any nuisances. He is in a hurry to get the tailed beasts so he won't be spending much time messing around now which is lucky for me but unlucky for you. Wait what?
