27- It's time

Izumi's POV:

3 years had passed quickly. During that time, I told Minato about the Uchiha elders pressuring Fugaku for a coup d'tat so he did his best to gain their favor but he was brushed off. I also told Minato about "Madara" which confirmed his suspicions that it was truly "Madara" who attacked the village with Kurama not that I'm going to correct him anyways. I also cured Hayate of his illness.

Flashback:

3 years ago....

I knocked on the door and a familiar red head who was 3 months pregnant opened the door, "What a surprise, please come in Izumi." Kushina said while stepping out of the way for me to come in. "Please excuse the intrusion." She waved it off, "It's fine dear!" She also knew I was a fuinjutsu master, only she, Minato, Jiraiya and my parents knew. "I'd like to speak with Minato-sensei privately." She raised an eyebrow but nodded and led me to the living room where Naruto was screwing around with some toy shurikens. He looked up to see me, "Oh! Teme's nii-san's girlfriend!" My eye twitched at what he called me. "I have a name. Use it! Also, I'm not Itachi's girlfriend!"

He didn't understand and just looked at Kushina for translation who simply told him to call me Izumi. Kushina turned to me"Izumi, why don't you wait here? Minato went out to get some groceries for dinner. Perhaps you can stay for dinner." I didn't have plans to stay but I figured it would be fine so I sent a bird to my parents to tell them I'm having dinner at the Namikazes which was sent back quite fast, saying that they didn't mind. They even sent me my sleepwear even though I didn't plan to sleepover at the Namikazes which made me think that they were trying to keep me out of the house, possibly being naughty. If that's true, I don't want a little brother or sister running around. Children are always a handful unless they're abnormal children like me and Itachi. Not only that, I won't be there for their childhood. So I sent a note again to tell mother to take birth control before they decide to get naughty.

I felt Minato's chakra signature appear at the door then I heard the door open. "I'm home!" I heard him go to the kitchen and the sound of plastic bags being put down. "Welcome back!" Kushina said. I heard footsteps and Minato appeared at the doorway. "I knew there was a guest but I wasn't expecting you, Izumi. Now, what brings you here?" I looked at Minato and signed, "It's important, something or rather someone who is believed to be dead is actually alive." His eyes narrowed that was only noticed by me since Naruto was still screwing around with his toy shurikens. He gestured me to follow him and let me to then guest bedroom.

Third Person's POV:

"This must be incredibly important if you didn't decide to come to my office instead but to my home." Izumi nodded, "It must stay as a secret." He gestured the girl to continue, Izumi took a deep breath before continuing to sign. "Uchiha Madara has requested me to join the Akatsuki last night." His eyes widened and his mouth was slightly parted, all he could utter was, "What?" She nodded solemnly, "I had no choice but to accept, he threatened to kill me." He sighed in relief mixed with anger.

Angry that his newest student had gotten caught up in possibly a S-Rank international terrorist organization, angry that it had to be his youngest student whom he has seen as a niece at this point. Relieved that his student is still fine with all limbs attached and had no signs of any sort of mental distress. "However, in order to ensure the safety of the village, I said that I would allow him to help me kill the Uchiha clan elders." Minato's eyes widened. "He seems to believe I resent the clan for shunning me and told me that the elders were only being nice to me because of my strength and reputation as your student and as a prodigy."
