24- Fuinjutsu Master

Izumi's POV:

A few months later....

I was walking back home when I heard sniffles nearby. They had very little chakra so I thought they were a civilian child. I should probably get them back home, it's getting dark anyways. I followed the sniffles and saw a little pink haired girl with her back turned against me crying. I didn't expect it to be Sakura.... I sighed and walked to her while making sure she heard me. I pat her head, "Are you okay?" Wait does she even know sign language? She looked at me weirdly. She may be smart with academics but she's still a kid at this time. I decided to keep my cover as a mute on and wrote on the ground since unlike Garra, she'll probably end up spilling it to Sasuke who'll tell Itachi and Shisui and they'll both try to make me speak.

Over the 2 years, I had unintentionally won the Uchiha elders favor mainly because of my prowess, food and medical skills. I'm literally the number one candidate to become Itachi's wife but that's if I wasn't "mute." I'm literally ranked in the top 5 despite being "mute," if they find out I'm truly not mute then I'm probably going to end up becoming number 1. That cannot happen!!

"I-I'm lost...." Makes sense, the civilian district is literally on the other side of the village. I'd body flicker but she's probably going to end up vomiting. "You're from the civilian district right? I can take you there." She was thinking about whether she should follow but decided to follow me. I held her hand and led her to the district. From there, she knew where to go. I pat her head and waved my hand but I didn't expect her to drag me to her parents. Oh well.

"Mom, dad!" Sakura shouted while her parents turned around to see their daughter with tears in their eyes. "Sakura!" They shouted in unison before taking her in their arms, Sakura's father turned to me, "Thank you for bringing her back." I nodded, "Also where did you find her?" Sakura's mother asked. "Around the Uchiha district." Luckily, they understood sign language. "I see. Once again thank you for your help." I waved it off, "No problem." I was about to walk away when I felt a tiny hand grip mine. I turned around to see Sakura giving me a bubbly grin, "Thank you Nee-chan!" I pat her head and walked away.

Then I went to Ichiraku to see Minato, Kushina and Naruto eating ramen. Minato was still on his first bowl while Kushina and Naruto were on their third. I went to take a seat beside Naruto. "Hey Izumi-chan!" Kushina said cheerfully while ordering another bowl of ramen. I waved at her while Naruto looked at me before turning to his father. "Who is she?" Minato finished his bowl and answered, "She's my newest student, Uchiha Izumi." Naruto's eyes widened. Did he heard rumors about me or something?

"Then she is Sasuke's nii-san's girlfriend!" He said while looking back at me. THAT'S NOT IT!!! I facepalmed and signed, "We're only friends!" Just like the other kids, Naruto didn't know what I was saying and turned to Minato. "She's saying they're only friends." Naruto turned back to me, "Well, why didn't you say so?" I sighed inaudibly and ordered my ramen while Minato explained my "condition."

"So she has a condition called m-mu-mutisum?" Guess Minato checked my medical record instead of just assuming I was mute. "Yes, and it's called mutism," Minato clarified, "Then how is she a ninja? Don't ninja need to communicate in order for a mission to be a success?" He asked a logical question?! His parents also looked shocked, it seems like Naruto didn't really change from canon. "Well, she still decided to become a kunoichi because her skills would've been a waste. So she communicated with a chalk board before switching over to sign language." Kushina explained as she literally swallowed her bowl of ramen. She was already on her 6th bowl. So that's where Naruto got his appetite. He only inherited Minato's looks, that's for sure. Everything else is from Kushina.

I looked at Kushina while noticing something off. Is that... another chakra signature in Kushina?! She's pregnant?! I activated my sharingan to concentrate on it, Minato seemed to notice and asked, "What's wrong?" I narrowed my eyes at Kushina's stomach. She's pregnant for sure, she's been pregnant for about a week and a half. "Did you know Kushina-sama is pregnant? She's been pregnant for about a week and a half." Minato's eyes widened before he touched Kushina's stomach. He sensed it but it was incredibly faint. "She's pregnant...." Minato trailed off before turning to Kushina, "We're having a second child?" Kushina questioned while I nodded. "We're having a second child.... A second child!" Minato exclaimed happily. This was unexpected but I should've probably expected this since I saved them. I tapped on both of their shoulders, "I suggest you keep it quiet. I don't think you want to start a scene." They both nodded while Naruto still looked clueless.
