11- Cat mission

Izumi's POV:

Welp, Yuki-sensei is out of the hospital now which is a good thing although he's still in pain. He now calls me and Itachi menacing children for stabbing his family jewels. We both ended up giving him "get well" presents since we were the main ones responsible for his state. Soon we went on missions and now....

"Alright, I got us a mission and that's to find a cat and bring them back to their home." We all nodded and headed to our destination. Turns out this mission is the one where I get to see Itachi wear cat ears. It was adorable to see in person, no wonder Shinko had heart eyes at the sight. I put on my cat ears although I didn't need them, I can talk to animals. Why wear fake cat ears when you can have real ones? 'True.' We all split up and walked around, although I found the cat first due to my heightened eyesight. I was on top of a mountain of boxes watching the cat being a snob. They were eating messily with food crumbs all around him.

How messy. "Taimori, get the others." He nodded and went to get the others while I kept watch on the cat. Soon the others arrived and was staring at the cat. "So that's him?" Tenma asked while I nodded. "Well let's get him!" He was about to rush forward when he was caught by Yuki-sensei by his collar. "We don't want to scare him away, surround the premises in case he runs away, I'll talk to him." We all nodded while Tenma was annoyed. Yuki-sensei carefully approached the cat while we all split up.

Yuki-sensei tried sweet talking him into getting the cat to follow him but the cat caught on to him and ran off. But not without scratching his face. Oh god. The cat ran in Tenma's direction who tried to catch him but the cat also proceeded to scratch his face. This cat is an absolute menace! Itachi and I were now the ones chasing after him. Not only that, the cat somehow got on the beam that's goes across the ceiling. Should I just make him obey me? 'If you want, this cat is a menace.' Agreed. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Itachi threw kunais at the cat. Seems like I don't have to do much. Itachi threw more and managed to get the cat who nearly proceeded to also scratch Itachi if Itachi didn't shower the cat with pats on the head.

Tenma who nearly fell to the ground was quickly caught by hanging him with kunais. I threw kunais to pin him to boxes to keep him from falling. Welp, I didn't really do anything apart from finding the cat. I healed Yuki-sensei and Tenma's scratches and we returned the cat. Turns out the cat ran away because he didn't want to get married or something, I don't know 😅. Right now, we were having lunch. "Sensei, when will be able to go on C-rank missions?" Shinko asked. "Soon, we just need to complete at least 5 more then we can get a C-rank mission." Yuki-sensei replied which made me narrow my eyes. That means we'll be encountering Obito soon. This is troublesome. I continued eating in silence while Shinko asked more questions.

Soon, we all parted ways and went to train with Shisui and Itachi. Ever since I met Shisui, we've been training together. We were seen together quite often. Fugaku did find me at their training grounds, he didn't mind. Seems like he was fine about my presence.

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bullet!" Shisui shouted while firing a dragon at me while I weaved some hand signs. Wind Style: Gale Palm. I thrusted my hand forward and managed to counter the dragon and sent it back at him. He jumped out of the way while using the body flicker technique to leave after images I quickly used the Substitution jutsu while Shisui swung a kunai at a log. I quickly unsealed a bunch of kunais and shurikens, and rained them on Shisui who body flickered out of the way. That jutsu is so annoying! I turned around to counter his incoming kunai but since he was physically stronger than me, I had to jump away. However I sensed a chakra signature coming.
