Sterling's POV

No matter how many weeks of not having to wake up early for training, my body has not adjusted. No sleeping in for me no matter how much I want it, but this morning as I wake I see that I have slept in longer than I usually do.

Elliott has yet to wake which allows me to experience one of my favorite things. Being in her arms as she peacefully sleeps. Elliott looks beautiful all the time, but there is something calming and heart skipping about her when she is asleep.

"You're staring again" she mumbles with her eyes still closed.

"You're so beautiful I can't help it" her eyes slowly open along with a soft smile on her face.

"If only you can experience what my eyes get to see" her fingers slightly grazing my cheek.

I lean up to her to bring my lips to hers. "If you keep saying things like that, then we will not be leaving this bed today" I whisper seductively over her lips. My eyes fall to her lips every few seconds.

"That is fine with me" she smirks before crashing her lips on mine.

"Hey KJ do-" my door opens abruptly.

"Stellan!"

"Shit sorry sorry" she quickly covers her eyes. "Sorry I forgot Elliott was here" she turns to leave but bumps into the wall as her eyes are still covered by her hands.

"Maybe it is time for us to get ready" Elliott laughs. I agree.

After some time of us getting dressed for the day we head downstairs for some breakfast. I had to lend Elliott some of my clothes since she didn't have another change. Seeing her in my clothes is a great sight.

"Hey, how'd the game go, you win?" Elliott asks Brooks as we sit for breakfast.

"Of course. We won 4-0. I scored two goals and assisted on the other two"

"Congrats on the win. Next game I definitely have to go" Elliott replies to my sister. I enjoy seeing her get close with my siblings. Being part of their lives, not just mine.

"You forgot to mention that you also got a red card at the end of the game" my ma says.

"Why did you get a red?" I ask my sister. Normally after her games that I miss I make her give me all the highlights, but I ended up falling asleep before they came back home.

"She tackled a player who fouled her teammate" my ma replies.

"Well she shouldn't have fouled Blake. It was a late slide tackle that was unnecessary so if you ask me she had it coming and I don't regret it" Brooks shrugs.

"Wait did you say Blake" I grin now knowing why my sister tackled the opponent.

"Yeah. I would have done the same for any other one of my teammates"

"Mhm"

"I would have" Brooks says with a defensive tone.

"Is Blake the same friend that you have been hanging out with recently?" my mom asks.

"Yeah we're friends. Friends hangout mom" my moms both give each other that look. The look that parents have knowing that their child has their first real crush. It is a mix of worry and excitement.

The rest of breakfast is spent giving Brooks a hard time. All of us chiming in to tease her a bit about her first crush. The only one that was not laughing was Brooks.

After breakfast I helped clean up and wash the dishes. I ended up speaking with Stellan for some time that I lost track of time and of Elliott. Once I realized that I hadn't seen her for an hour I got up and went looking.
